We describe a novel approach to log-based reconciliation
\ncalled IceCube. It is general and is parameterised by application
\nand object semantics. IceCube considers more
\nexible
\norderings and is designed to ease the burden of reconciliation
\non the application programmers. IceCube captures
\nthe static and dynamic reconciliation constraints between all
\npairs of actions, proposes schedules that satisfy the static
\nconstraints, and validates them against the dynamic constraints.
\nPreliminary experience indicates that strong static constraints
\nsuccessfully contain the potential combinatorial explosion of
\nthe simulation stage. With weaker static constraints, the
