In this paper, we present our study on the problem to support pervasive browsing in the heterogeneous environment of today\u2019s Internet. A system solution \u2013 Adaptive Web Content Delivery (AWCD), is presented to overcome the problems existed in present web infrastructure. The system designed is extensible for the further development of Internet. The two major subsystems of AWCD, client profile learning and adaptation, are described in detail.
