For robust spoken conversational interaction,\u00a0many dialog state tracking algorithms have\u00a0been developed. Few studies, however, have\u00a0reported the strengths and weaknesses of each\u00a0method. The Dialog State Tracking Challenge\u00a0(DSTC) is designed to address this issue by\u00a0comparing various methods on the same\u00a0domain. In this paper, we present a set of\u00a0techniques that build a robust dialog state\u00a0tracker with high performance: wide-coverage\u00a0and well-calibrated data selection, feature-rich\u00a0discriminative model design, generalization\u00a0improvement techniques and unsupervised
