These services, built on the<br \/>\nbasis of Continuous Integration\/Continuous Deployment (CI\/CD)<br \/>\nprocesses, are extremely dynamic: developers continuously com-<br \/>\nmit code and introduce new features, functionality and fixes.<br \/>\nHundreds of commits may enter the code-base in a single day.<br \/>\nTherefore one of the most time-critical, yet resource-intensive<br \/>\ntasks towards ensuring code-quality is effectively testing such<br \/>\nlarge code-bases.<br \/>\nThis paper presents FastLane, a system that performs data-<br \/>\ndriven test minimization. FastLane uses light-weight machine-<br \/>\nlearning models built upon a rich history of test and commit logs<br \/>\nto predict test outcomes. Tests for which we predict outcomes<br \/>\nneed not be explicitly run, thereby saving us precious test-<br \/>\ntime and resources.
