Projects featured in the video include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/research\/publication\/attention-sensitive-alerting\/\">Priorities<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/research\/publication\/principles-mixed-initiative-user-interfaces-2\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lookout<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/research\/publication\/models-attention-computing-communication-principles-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Notification Platform<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/research\/publication\/deeplistener-harnessing-expected-utility-guide-clarification-dialog-spoken-language-systems\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeepListener<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/research\/publication\/experiences-with-the-design-fielding-and-evaluation-of-a\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bestcom<\/a>. The projects show early uses of machine learning, perception, and reasoning aimed at supporting people in daily tasks and at making progress on longer-term missions of augmenting human intellect. The efforts are thematically related in their pursuit of broader understandings of people and context, including a person\u2019s attention, goals, activities, and location, via multimodal signals, involving the analysis of multiple streams of information.
