The benchmark results demonstrate the performance benefits customers can expect from pairing SQL Server 2008 with hardware from leading industry partners including Intel and IBM.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/sql-server\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/tpc_e_price_performance_thumb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/sql-server\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/tpc_e_price_performance_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"tpc_e_price_performance\" width=\"526\" height=\"263\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>TPC-E is the most modern and rigorous benchmark for measuring real-world transaction processing and Microsoft is the first vendor to receive the TPC-E benchmark certification with 18 TPC-E benchmarks on SQL Server, 7 of which released since the RTM of SQL Server 2008. OEM partner Inspur Group published the first Microsoft SQL Server TPC-E results in non-U.S. dollar currency in China.
