MS Account Verification

An alternative (or additional) two (or more) factor verification mechanism for Microsoft accounts. - Easy to set up (code / QR Code). - Copy code to clipboard, paste and done. - Multiple accounts on one app. Wish it was: - Easier to remove accounts, directly from the app. NOTE, this is an additional (optional) security mechanism, thus you could use none, or all of the following: - email (secondary) - Mobile (Call / SMS) - Authenticator App Windows Phone 10. Lumia 630.

Mostly works

Works OK. Sometimes even for places that don't offer windows mobile support (gmail) QR didn't work with GitHub. Inability to remove or replace individual entries is puzzling and a major drawback

Very good app, I've got 5 accounts on it (and I hope that collection will grow 😊). Only drawback is inability of syncing with Microsoft account and deleting single entries.

The people rating this app bad obviously don't understand how it works and why it works the way it does, lol. How can you not know how to use this app properly and the clear benefits you gain form an app such as this?!?! I use this for my Windows Live, Guild Wars 2, EA/Origin, Drop Box, and Facebook accounts and its flawless for all accounts. It's super fast and really easy to use and understand. I use this on my Nokia Lumia 1520 and its flawless and extremely handy. Makes my accounts so much more secure. Not sure what kinda person has a rough time with an app as simple as this unless they have an older junky 512mb phone or they are just to derpz to understand the app. Every phone should have this app as it is a great extra layer of security for accounts. Common sense people!!!!

When it works - it's great; when it doesn't - it sucks

In theory this is a great app; it’s much easier to use for two-factor authentication (2FA) than constantly sending SMS messages to your phone. Unfortunately when it fails, you quickly find yourself locked out of your accounts. This app has been so unreliable that I have had to quit using it and go back to SMS messages for 2FA. #FAIL

Great Security App

Great application, however it would be nice to see the Application being able to use the Windows Mobile Backup service so that one doesn't need to keep entering the secret passcodes all the time.

No setup info

The app works great, something I was doing something as was prompted to install it. Worked great for a months. I reset my phone (windows 10), and now I can't setup the app, there are no directions and the link on the app info page is just a generic MS homepage. Anything on how to setup would be helpful - all the app has is scan a bar code - well, I need a web site to get that barcode!

Great app

It does what it should do. Some kind of problematic when you need enter the code to other mobile app and the authenticator is on the same device.

Use this app if you care about security!

Does what it's supposed to do, and makes your account more secure in the process -- good app. For now, the UI does look a bit bare, and it took me a minute or two to understand what was going on with the progress indicator, but I think as 2-factor authentication becomes more commonplace, this UI will become very obvious and very clean.
