Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary
Master the 600 most frequent words in the Hebrew Bible! The Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary App is designed to help students study and review the 600 most frequent words in the Hebrew Bible. The top 600 words are divided into sets of 25 which can be mixed and matched to create a single list. Once a list is created, students click through the words individually, reveal the English translation, and move to the next word. If they incorrectly identify the Hebrew word, students can choose to send the word to a sub-list for further review. In addition to the top 600 words in the Hebrew Bible, lesson lists are available that correspond with Thomas O. Lambdin's Introduction to Biblical Hebrew textbook. The Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary app was designed by Geri Clements, a Biblical Hebrew Instructor at Brigham Young University and a M.S. student in Instructional Psychology & Technology, as a way for her students to always have their vocabulary lists with them no matter where they go. Waiting in lines and waiting for friends can now be leveraged into Biblical Hebrew study time! Just think of the possibilities...More

Awesome app! Great to use in conjunction with the Lambdin text book. It looks like most people are complaining about the lack of transliterations for pronunciation purposes. This isn't necessary for the app seeing as biblical Hebrew is a purely written language, it is not spoken.More
does just what it says
No bells or whistles, this app does just what it says. One needs to already be able to decode/read Hebrew (with vowels) in order to use this app as intended. Would be nice if I could make a custom 'review list' across lessons (and save as such), but I don't see an option for that.More
It would be profitable if the author would say a loud voice each of the wordMore
Useless for speaking
It only shows the word in Hebrew, which I cannot yet read., then it allows you to see the meaning of the word in English. There is no sounding of the word at all. The font used for the Hebrew words is too fancy and difficult for me to see clearly. However, that may not be a problem for you.More
