Crashes the first time you turn it on, but works on subsequent tries. It has some cool features but I have not been able to use it as my source when I need to graph equations, and I resent that. It is difficult to find a good app to run on a 1000+ dollar Surface to do a better job than a 30 dollar calculator; I will pay premium for an app that does what an old HP can do. Blu wants input in f(x) format and chokes when asked to graph more complicated curves. I just can't rely on it to graph something other than a simple polynomial.

Crashes immediately

I bought this app thinking it would be a useful tool. Instead, it crashes every time I open it. I cannot do anything with it. There is no good support system from the developer. All they give is an email address. I am running Windows 8.1 home 64 bit.

I can honestly say this calculator is much better than the TI-Nspire, having used both. The interface is seamless, the calculations are all accurate and the graphing feature is equally functional. One note, it would great to manipulate the functions more. For example if I wanted to plot a sideways parabola as opposed to half of one, I would need to set the function as y^2=(f(x))^2=x. Unfortunately Blu only allows you to manipulate the right side of the function. It would be great if this could be changed, but all in all this is still the best calculator I've ever used.

Calculating Equations Wrong

Tried a simple -x^2+6x+6, it plotted the wrong vertex, x-intercepts, and even the wrong opening direction. I am fortunate that I got the free version, because it's pretty worthless! According to the release notes, this was supposed to be fixed, but it has not been. I really wish it had been, it's actually a pretty good app because of the ability to have multiple curves showing at the same time. The developer still needs to work on it, until its fixed, stick to the free version to save money!

Great app.. even if only as a calculator

It's a great calculator, even if you don't use it for graphing. I'd love to see more functions and constants added to the calculator side though. I swear though, if that Refer Engine garbage comes up another time, I'm deleting this application immediately. I'm like 90% sure that I actually PAID for this app, before it was free... and now I still get harassed by that popup constantly, even if I select the "Do Not Show Again" option. Edit: And it came back again. I give up on this annoying bs.

Amazing. The best.

This app is so beautiful and elegant that it makes me want to take math classes, just to be able to use all the features in this calculator!

Pretty good

But there are a few annoyances you'll find with this app. If you begin to write a function on the graphing page, and for any reason leave that page and go back, whatever you wrote disappears. Pretty annoying if taking online math and switching tabs. Also once you've plotted a line you cannot go back and edit that function you must trash it and write again. Things to consider. It has a pretty clean look, but on a desktop seems sort of out of place.

Excellent and User friendly, but lacks a bit.

This app has a very friendly interface and is very useful when plotting multiple equations as it allows you to create multiple graphs at the same time and save graphs for future reference. My only complaints are that it does not allow you to manually create lines by placing points, something that is missing on pretty much all the graphing apps on the store. Another issue is that you cannot scroll around the graph or zoom in or out, you are forced to set perimeters of how much is displayed.

Not bad, but your logo stink

I almost wanted to uninstall your app because your logo is so horrible looking, which includes your icon and the name of the product. It's an eyesore on my screen. updated: Ok, it's just bugging me too much. I switched to another calculator because I don't want to look at your tile anymore.

Accurate and pretty full featured

The first accurate, free graphing calculator I have tried for Surface. The intersection highlighting is a nice feature, as is the table of results. I wish that I could pan the graph by touch, and pinch-zoom out without limit. Other than that, this will handle most of your needs.
