Web Version has more features..

I was very excited to be able to try out CodeAnywhere on my Windows Tablet; I quickly found myself in a .php file and tried to pickup editing as I typically would using the web-version expecting the same results. I was also quickly disappointed. The web-version seems to be more useful when it comes to Syntax/Input. Although this is a nice app for quick edits; its not exactly a "touch-friendly" version of what we've all come to love from its web counterpart. Bottom Line : A great touch-enabled app for quick edits; but don't expect to spend hours crunching code on the Windows8 Version.

Great web app that misses on Win 8

I really wanted this to be great, but for some reason they go away from what makes them great on the web version. It is a tedious app to use as to traverse the directories. it is a single screen for each folder. Then if you are editing a file there is no easy way to switch across open files to work across an app. You have to back out and traverse the tedious folder layout again. Why not have a folder tree ,even if it is a slide out? Why not a pull down off open files that we are working on to easily switch amount them. Please please get this going

About as Advanced as the Android App

The iOS App really set the bar for me for what to expect. It really rocks. As does the web app / Chrome app. However, this and the Android app(s) have really let me down; no syntax highlighting, autocomplete, or even auto indentation and bracket/quotation balancing. So, I can't really give this version a better review. However, the Chrome App (which also works very well in IE, just be sure to bring a Surface keyboard or other Bluetooth keyboard) is enough for me to pay for the premium account. If they can fix the code editor, AND give me access to SSH from the Apps (iOS, Android, Windows 8), I am a very happy camper indeed. In the meantime, this is still the best code editor in Windows 8; FTP/SFTP integration, clean interface, and even simple things like Unix Linefeed intelligence, sure make the difference.

Started out Decent....

Started out good. I liked the interface. I liked the idea of linking my dropbox and github and adding ftp severs. Probably the only app I have found like this, so I was stoked.... Then I tried changing some things up, ran into bugs and now I am unable to use it. I emailed support, and started a support ticket but have not heard back in 4 days. A little disappointed by that and definitely does not make me feel confident enough to buy into the monthly subscription for the advanced account.

Network error when trying to login

Every time I try to login I get a message "Network error: A network error has occurred. Please try again later." I have tried several different times (even on different days) and no luck. I also tried to reset my password, and I receive the same error. I have used Codeanywhere online, and it has always worked well.

Can't log in

I already have a codeanywhere account. But can't log in. I get the "Network Error". I'd love to see the app. Please make an announcement when it is fixed.

Complete Junk

The app wont let you do anything until you register and then activate your account. It tells you to go to the website to activate, but nowhere on the site is a place to activate. Deleted
