It's ok and seems to work well even on my longer

programs. I like the minify winrt editor better, but this is the only one with fortran support, which is what I needed the most. Unfortunately they don't seem to support latex files. Update: It would be nice to have tabs, so you can have multiple files open, but the folders view works ok for this. They really need to update the program to work better with the different 8.1 snap positions. This is an editor that I could use on even my workstation if they'd do this.

nice concept

the preview doesn't do anything at all. Just all black. I have actually tinkered around with building a similar app myself but would really like to find a way to incorporate SASS or at least LESS

Clean simple multi-purpose editor

Very clean multi-purpose editor. Simple to use. It's perfect for those simple, quick code changes. The price is definitely right.

VIM - good stuff

For me to have VIM alone in a windows 8 app is cool. The syntax highlighting is cool. I think you need to change it per file type tho which is a bit troublesome. When in VIM mode I'd like to be able to use vim save/exit and search commands. When I hit esc : I get a prompt but not sure what it's used for. Still messing around/learning but I might buy this app.

Great app to use. Gives me flexibility with different languages. I really like the explorer and would love to see it be fully recursive.

I'm not sure if syntax highlighting is actually a hidden option or something, but I opened a python file and tried writing a few lines and there was no highlighting.

Doesn't work well

Be sure to try the free version for a few minutes before deciding to buy. Try doing all your normal editing stuff and see how it works. You likely won't keep it for more than a day before moving on to something else.

Great to have vim mode, but the app is too unstable.

Not good for C#

I made the mistake of purchasing this app, the trial expired before I could actually try it. Having tried it, the developer should never have released this app ( or at least not make saps pay for it until he works out the issues) It likes auto capitalizing and is occasionally unresponsive. Auto capitalizing? Really? In a code editor?
