Version Notes

Everything is new in this version! We've relaunched Epicurious and redesigned the entire app. It's like a gut kitchen renovation, only with a few million lines of code.

Generally very good

App seems to work well. Recipes mostly work as written. User comments are often laughable. Pictures help with plating ideas.

Love EPI app!

I like that I can read the reviews of others and alter a recipe if need be. It helps that others have tried it and I can be prepared for what I love to prepare.

Reducing to 2 stars because Recipe Box recently stopped working. It doesn't show any of my saved recipes here or in the Windows 8 app. I love Epicurious and the rest of the app is great, but without recipe saving it loses a lot of appeal. I like the grocery store reminder, but would be better if it only reminded me when I have items on my shopping list. Would also be cool if I could export my list to OneNote or Wunderlist

I love ❤ it, recipes, shopping list, easy to use, linked with the full site. Really well done.

Interesting

I've enjoyed this sight. It helps to get out of a rut with cooking the same things over and over again. Lots of good tips also. Thanks Guys

Doesn't synch

I have over 200 recipes saved from my zip list and epi app and none of them synch with this. They are all on my Samsung phone and online - I opened the epicurious site on internet and this app thinking then they would synch and NOTHING - useless app -if I could rate it zero stars I would.

Superb content, decent features, 'okay' GUI

I prefer the iOS app, but the windows version is fine. Can't ask for a better source of amazing recipes. Love the recipe box and shopping list features--I actually use them. Wish there was the same way to search for types of meal/dish/dietary requirements/main ingredient/cuisine/occasion that you're able to in the iOS version. That's just a killer feature, and what makes me drop my rating from a 5 to a 4. Probably should be a 3, but, honestly, I still haven't been let down by the Windows version, so I feel obligated to give a 4. Also, the predictive meal choosing feature: "Would you cook it" isn't useful at all to me. In the end, though the app is only 'okay,' the recipes are the best and with a little looking you can almost always find something great.

Need to learn how write software

The function to add a recipe to the Recipe Box doesn't work. Also, the website says I can add my own recipes by clicking on a Green Button that does not exist in the app. Documentation is either out of date or just plain wrong.

App keeps getting better. Original version had a lot of promise but functions were frustrating. Runs so much better now and grew to use.

Epicurious App THUMBS UP!!

Previously, I used MSN Food and Drink, but they are discontinuing it so I switched to Epicurious which, being very familiar with, was the most logical choice. It has had tons of info and recipes and has not disappointed!
