Excellent UI, but doesn't work for every cloud
For Google drive...It actually works, and its fast. For dropbox it fails to connect. Still, works great for Google drive which is missing a metro app, unlike the rest. Best so farMore
I'm getting an 'error, SSL required' message
.... when I try to log-in to Flickr. Please look into this issue. It's a nice app so far besides that. Image thumbnails on folders would be nice but I'm a tech so it doesn't bother me as much as it probably does others. I'm on a ThinkPad Tablet 2 running Win 8.1 if that helps you with troubleshooting. Thanks for the good app (besides the minor issues) and thanks for making it ad-free. It makes it look much cleaner and more professional.More
Good app but...
It needs the option to select more than 1 file at a time (or even a whole folder) and do "open with...". That would be so useful. For example, if you have a folder filled with music only, and you want to add it all to a media player "now playing" list, that's not possible with this app, like it was in windows desktop. Also, when you select a file or folder, it should give you the option "add shortcut on file brick menu". Finally, the default action when you click on a file is to open it in the default player, and not file brick trying to open it itself. For example, if you click on an MKV file, instead of opening it in your default MKV player app, File Brick will try to open it itself and fails (just shows a black screen with an error message)More
Is this app for real?
After realizing I had four cloud services going, and working off of two computers, I needed a fix. I have downloaded 5 apps that combine cloud services and what Ive found is that the BRICK is my favorite. What a great app. User friendly and easy. I have been so pleased with the app, no crashes on my watch and everything synced up nicely. Wish there was a quick link add to other apps/websites, want to add pinterest, among others. All in all Im very pleased.More
Excellent File Browser for Windows
Great file browser and much more! You can add tiles for folders, drives, etc. Having access to many cloud services and storage another big plus. I have tried others but always use this on as my standard.More
The only problem is that certain pictures say network loading error when there is no problem with the network connection. This app is nearly perfect in every other way. Microsoft should buy this and make it the official Windows RT file manager.More
Great app, a nice addition would be the ability to customize folder icons and tile colors.More
Excellent File Manager
This supports cloud storage and UPNP/DLNA shares. Working with mapped network drives is a little flakey. It gives an error, when adding shortcuts to them, but, if you close and reopen, they will be there. You, also, get an error, when accessing those mapped drives, but they seem to still work. It would be nice to include a "run as administrator" option, for some commands. I tried to delete some files, from c:\windows, but got access denied. I had to do it with File Explorer and it simply asked me for authorization. Maybe there could be a similar kind of confirmation?More
When I tried to open a picture in Box account from this app, it came through very blurry. The screen design is nice and intuitive.More
