Garmin almost always pleases except this time. Must have data connection for this product to function. I don't. Otherwise a good program.

I purchased the app today to use on a family trip. My regular GPS broke this morning so I had hoped to use this one as a backup. I feel my money was wasted on this app. The app appears to be outdated. The last copyright year was 2014. The maps in the app are from 2014. Outdated since my Garmin GPS jist was updated to 2016.10 version. It failed to locate where I was on the map. Yes I had the phone location setting turned on. I had to enter in the starting address and ending address. It failed to pick up my vehicle while traveling. Wishing I could get my 29.99 dollars back!!

Great and simple with solid cues that make driving easier. The only HUGE downside is that it does not integrate into nav options like Here Drive, Navigon and others. It needs this feature!!!

The best navigation package I could find for Windows Phone 8. It takes a little longer than I'd like to get the GPS location (probably waiting for a little too hood coordinates) and I really wish it was integrated with the Windows phone 8 Drive To feature, but it makes up for most of that with accurate fast search for POIs and map to contacts in address book. The navigation voice is a bit muffled, but it definitely gets the job done and is better than any other package I've found. No offline maps, but there are no service fees. So far I think it was worth the $30. Update: this app does show up in local search app section (swipe to the apps tab) , so I'm quite happy :)

Using HTC 8x. This has so much potential for being great. I would use this over Nokia Drive+ IF... 1) Voice compression was of better quality 2) Integration with Bing Maps when navigating was seamless. Currently Nokia Drive+, VZNavigator, and gMaps pro are the only apps that get this right with the click of the Drive To link. 3) Voice navigation would override music momentarily when calling out directions. Currently, it gets overshadowed by other audio playing. 4) Staying in the background if a call comes in. Calls tends to stop the program altogether instead of resuming.

Great app! I just switched from Android to Windows phone. I was a bit apprehensive about loosing Google Navigation, but this app is definitely an upgrade even though I had to pay for it. Garmin's rerouting feature works better than Google's. I also like the speed limit feature and a few of the other whimsical items. Caching would be the only missing feature.

The latest update made this app even BETTER! Now browsing a map while navigating is fluid and natural. Great app, (despite the useless demo). Works flawlessly on my LG running Mango PROS •Significantly easier to use while driving vs Mango's upgraded Bing Maps •Turn by turn directions are audible over bluetooth and directions don't conflict with an ongoing call (neither works well in Bing Maps) •Intersections are made easier to navigate thanks to real life pictures of the actual intersection •Google Maps integration and POIs •Airline flight status CONS •Requires an internet connection (so expensive in foreign countries) •Expensive

For the price I had expected very robust software, maybe not feature complete, but certainly stable. But not yet managed to do journey where it doesn't hang, lose lock and position. Once it does so, it never recovers. I have the full version and unlimited data. Trial limitations were disappointing - not even one routed journey - but then had I bought the trial I would likely not have bought the software. I have a Garmin streetmate in my car so I had the two side by side - clear view of satellites was not the issue. (Phone is Samsung Focus). I hope there is an update soon. Love Garmin products normally.

Buyer beware... App is great... Just like a trusted Garmin GPS. However, per the claim that it stores data from "found" routes... FALSE. I used roughly 500 mbs of data on a trip from PA to FL. Navigation was 98% accurate and synced to satellites well. The UI has a few things that need to be added, like multi point routing & routing from a point other then your current position. Otherwise, great app if you have unlimited data. I am dropping this app and buying the Navigon because it retains Map data on the phone.
