Disappointed that it wouldn't work

epic fail

doesn't work with google business apps and blog article confirms that Microsoft stops supporting google cal syncing... lame

Stephen · 3/1/2013
Works as intended

It would be nice to have it manage multiple accounts though

Doesn't work

Signed in and it just says No Devices Found. I use my cell phone and tablet and sync my google accounts there, Calendar, Mail, etc. Fail of an app.

Worked for Win 8

Installed on Windows 8 64bit machine, sync Gmail calendar with Windows Calendar. Worked good, I would recommend this app. I wish Windows 8 would sync with Gmail directly. Only gave it 4 stars because it is a bit clunky to get around. But so is Windows 8. You almost have to guess what to do to make it work. But not that hard to figure out. I can add something to my Gmail calendar with windows calendar as long as I point the event to the correct calendar.

Useless

Would give this zero stars if possible, does not work at all - simply says 'no device has been found.' No support of any kind, no website, nothing. Waste of time, and helped me like Win8 even less, since I can find no useful solution for using my Google Calendar and Mail on the start page.

Quick Two-way Sync

This app has worked great. Installed it, signed into my google account, selected the calendars that I wanted to sync, and done. The initial sync took a few minutes to go through but since then any changes go through in under 30 seconds. I wanted to make sure that this app had a two way sync and so created a test event both from my google calendar and also from the Win8 calendar app. Both times the test event appeared within seconds on the other calendar and also disappeared after deletion.

For me, I am going to call this gNoSync

Does not seem to sync at all. I am using a new Win8 Tab, and I can not sync anything with this tab to my gmail account. No errors, but no sync either. My rule of thumb is that I never use a product that needs tech support to get it running the first time. After more investigation, it seems to only sync in one direction, from google to my device. Is that truly a "sync"? I wish it would truly sync in both directions

Brilliant!

Lets you sync your google calendars on Win8. Awesome. Some minor flaws, but workable. Well done!

Awesome tool but...

This app is great; however, it doesn't pull in tasks, which is what I was looking for in the first place. Add that, and this will be a 5 star app for sure!
