Hurricane Tracker provides you with the latest information about tropical cyclones in the Atlantic, East Pacific, West Pacific, Indian Ocean, and southern hemisphere. Personal settings allow you to narrow it down to the hurricane basins that interest you. Like loops? View animated satellite imagery of the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific, or Indian Ocean. Also includes wind shear maps, steering currents, sea surface temperatures, doppler weather radar... and more. Check out past storms in the historical database section.More

Very nice weather app. It does what other weather radars don't do. Definitely recommended if your a pilot or weather enthusiast.More
Good app, nice access to NOAA data and alerts. Would be nice if this had some usability during the "off-season" of December-May.More
Better Than Hurricane Tracking Websites
This app puts pretty much all the publically available data about any given cyclone at your fingertips, including a nice view of all the different prediction models (spaghetti models) and what feels like images from every weather satellite in existence. The app seems well-built and is definitely more pleasant to use than all the free hurricane tracking websites out there, which are either filled with ads or less comprehensive. That said, the interface occasionally feels a little rough around the edges. Little things like: - The spaghetti models view should really have a legend - The main tracking view (with the circles) isn't zoomable, and if you naively try to zoom with your mouse wheel you get whisked away to a different tab. - You never quite know what the mouse wheel will do, and linking the mouse wheel to tab selection feels wrong on so many levels. If there's nothing to scroll or zoom, it should simply do nothing. - Thumbnail for spaghetti models shows the wrong stormMore

No info on main screen today?More
Living in "Hurricane Alley" one needs a good solid easy-to-use app...this is it!More
Best tracker for WP that I have found. A little slow to load at times and layout seems a little disjointed but, overall, very useful.More
Hurricane Tracker That Doesn't Track
Don't waste your time with this app. There is no way to refresh the screen and it rarely updates on it's own. Will show the same old tracking data for days on end. Erika has been gone for 3 days but this app still shows it churning as a cat1 in the eastern Atlantic. Shows no information on Fred. What's the point of a hurricane tracker if you're not going to track hurricanes?More

This update contains small bug fixes, including flashing listboxes on selection and the inability to select the same list item twice in a row. This update improves mapping, and changes circles on map to cyclone icons. May 27, 2013: Fixes a bug that causes the app to crash upon openning when data failed to load from a certain source. This update also fixes a bug in displaying storms in the Atlantic and East Pacific that would cause a debug message to appear when selected.
