Lanscan is a simple network and network service discovery tool: it identifies your computer's default IPv4 network and scans all hosts in the usable address range for available TCP and UDP ports for a set of common network services such as port 22 (SSH), port 80 (HTTP), port 443 (HTTPS) etc. As it completes the scan, it produces a list of all discovered endpoints in your local area network. HTTP/HTTPS endpoints are clickable and this will launch the corresponding web site in an embedded web browser. Lanscan is a tool used to produce a simple map of the current user's local area network.More

Great app but lacking
I have several networks that I manage and this app really helps. I found however that a print screen function would be nice also a copy function.More
gives no relevant info - where the heck is network map
one of the most useful network tools now gone in 8 and 10 - not smart windows...this gives you ip addresses but no network info or map structure - does not give the necessary infoMore
Sometimes have to close and reopen app before it works...More
Never completes scan
Looks pretty, but a simple scan of my net stalled near completion.More
Pretty handy, needs more features.
I like the simplicity. However, the dev should take it a step further and add some more features, maybe wake on lan?More
See what's on your network
Shows info on network IP's. Very handy tool. Easy to use.More
User friendly and informative in a good design. All of it. Love the glass effect. Good luck.More
Excellent app need more like this
Scans and finds IP on your network but takes it a step further. You will see "browse" next to a found router. Clicking it will launch a in app browser where you can log in to the router for programming needs.More
Seems cool but....
Repetitive scans produce different results every time. Ports on my network are constant, sometimes it picks up my web servers, sometimes not. My guess is the developer is compensating for speed versus accuracy.More
Sort of Useful
Provides complete IP address information about the computer you install the app on. The discovered devices are a little confusing because it can list the same device more than once if multiple open ports are found on the device. The "network map" is just a list of the discovered devices with a box next to some of them with the word "browse" in it. It is not what you would think of as a network map. On my home network of over 8 networked devices, only 4 boxes appeared next to IP addresses. App needs better organization and more realistic network mapping.More
