I believe my notebook setting isn't issue but the homepage is unable to display. the info is always shown as " Something goes wrong with your network connection but you can still query word in our local dictionary"

Great app, one big problem.

So, I really, really like this app. The layout of the app is creative and intuitive, and it is packed with great features. It does a great job of integrating news and entertainment into one cohesive language learning package. HOWEVER, for English users it is struck stark, and for some even useless because it lacks pinyin. For those unfamiliar with many Chinese characters, this is a tremendous obstacle to effective use, and a huge oversight on the part of the developers. If a pinyin feature is added, or Mandarin pronounciation feature, I would give this app 5 stars, but as it stands, it is just nifty eye candy.

2 Suggestions

This app works for most parts. There are 2 suggestions that I would like to make hoping to make Bing E-C dictionary a more robust app. 1. It is unable to highlight and copy the phonics part of a search result. E.g. [ raˈpôr, rə- ] 2. The Chinese result is always in Simplified Chinese. I hope there is a way or setting to switch between Simplified and Traditional Chinese. I would rate this app a 5 star if the above 2 suggestions are being considered.
