Barcode scanning works very poorly on a Lumia 1020, practically useless

I was using another app to catalog my DVD collection but it had no way to back everything up online in case of a device change or some failure. This app is perfect. You can scan every title right into the database. The multiple scan feature is great considering that I have hundreds of titles. This process was not only speedy but fun. Scanning worked flawlessly on my 1520. The amount of information available for each title is staggering and the online site is impressive. I also love the ability to access my movie information on multiple devices.

The barcode scanner does not work with my Nokia 1020. Had to manually put in my whole collection. The Developer is aware of the scanning issues but appaently has little interest in fixing. If you don't mind manually entering everything, this is a great app.

Great app to manage, search and control your entire movie collection using Windows Media Center - although there are database only versions for the Mac as well. If you have a moderate to gargantuan sized movie collection on disc, server, DVD changer(s) or NAS, then you NEED this app and the desktop Collection Management software!

Fantastic way to keep a digital list of my movie library! Little spendy maybe, but just what I was looking for. Will buy the app if it goes on sale - no offense meant to the dev(s).

I have been using My Movies for iPhone, iPad and the Windows desktop client for contributing and managing titles for about 2 years (which was and still is awesome awesome). On a whim, I decided to go with a Windows phone. The one requirement I had was that I needed My Movies and to my delight, they make it for Windows phone too! These folks are committed to having the best movie collection tool on every platform and they do a great job at it. It's great to be able to access my collection from any platform and I'm glad I'm able to contribute new and rare titles that are not in the database yet so my collection is always up to date. I recommend this app to everyone - it's one that will stick around and is worth the money. Keep up the great work!

Worth the money. Barcode scanner allows for groups of movies to be scanned quickly. Lots of ways to organize and categorize, nice facts and info on each movie. It makes sharing, adding and researching my movie collection (or wish list) a lot of fun!

Love it. Well worth the $$$. Scanner works great on Nokia 820. Took a little playing around til I got used to app but now its so easy to use. I really appreciate the multi-scan option as well as the sync to their server. Never worry about buying a dup copy or losing your list.

Barcode scanner doesn't work. Dev has been told and does nothing. No way this many five star ratings when the app is broken. So do us all a favor dev; either fix the app or remove your family and friends fake five star reviews and accept your deserving one star overall rating.

I have used BetterMovieManager Pro and Videobrary, but this app is truly catered to me. It has the exact covers for each version of movie you have and is HIGHLY detailed on the title you have. Having a live Tile option would be nice and also having the Add button on the main screen would be more convenient then having to go to the left every time. Other than that this app is FOR SURE a 5/5
