Great App

Love the way it works, even though its on the first stages of completion it works well. I know the dev will continue to work on it, but it is a great start! After several months of wait it finally has the filters and love how smooth everything moves and how these updates don't hinder the sound quality nor the gameplay responsiveness. This app is a must buy for all of you who are retro game enthusiasts or for people who want to be able to enjoy awesomeness on the go!!!

Works great!

Love this emulator as a RT user. Has save states, which is a big deal. Even works in snap mode next to my Netflix! Plug and play with the 360 controller. Love it shows the last game played in the live tile :P . Ignore other users who say "you can't remove on screen controls" because you can under settings. Also, people who give 1 star because all they can play is minesweeper fails to understand the purpose of an emulator. I do feel there is a slight delay during some games using the 360 controller, though its hard to say if its the game or emulator. It is so slight that I will still give this 5 stars.

Good emulator for RT

Does a good job. Fairly straight forward and works well on windows RT. Obviously you could install a free emulator on a full version of windows, but in RT that's not an option, so this is a good alternative. I'd like to see better control mapping and be able to rearrange touch controls. Otherwise worth the purchase. Touch controls work surprisingly well.

Well done

The controls are laid out nicely so that on a tablet the empty space around the old 4:3 game screen contain the controls. The app is also well designed and looks really nice. I love having some of the old, great games at my finger tips...and don't even have to worry about blowing in cartridges! One suggestion: the ability to emulate a GameShark.

Works but needs work

A great first attempt at an NES emulator for RT. Games are a little jittery and sound stumbles a little but otherwise fully functional. Keep up the effort!

Great. This is an OldTime NES

The best part is that you don't have to blow on the Cartridges. :) Old school games know about that.

Gamepad support needs work

Thinks my Gamepad's analog stick is perpetually pointing to the top left. Verified in the Windows Gamepad Calibration wizard that it's perfectly zeroed. Wish there was a way to disable analog and only use the d-pad but there isn't.

Fast, pretty, simple and great emulator!

It's good with my laptop!

I have an ASUS laptop and it works perfectly and even better when you play it on the big screen with your HDMI cable!
