Nice DIY yoga class, needs some bells & whistles

With five different practices, each with three difficulty levels, this is a really nice, fairly comprehensive in-home yoga class. The simple animations are helpful without being distracting. An especially nice touch is being able to use custom playlists for warm-up, practice, and cool-down. The only thing missing is a signal that the practice is over after savasana. I really miss the three bells. If they were added, I'd happily give this five stars.

Great app, but needs better animation

I was skeptical about an animated yoga teacher, but it's actually quite good. There are good descriptions of the transitions between poses and how the poses should feel. The two things that stop me from giving a 5 star rating are 1) I'd like to see better animation between poses. Right now it just shows one image and then suddenly the next. I'd like to see the figure actually transition through the poses, because sometimes the transition can be tricky. 2) This complaint is minor, but I'd like to see a timer as I go through the poses to see how far I've gone and how far I need to go. Maybe that's something I need to work on at a personal level and yoga practice will probably help with it, but that's neither here nor there. I'm rating an app not my personal issues and I'd like a way to track my time.

Problems with the Intermediate Ocean practice

I've been using this for about 2 months and just love it. I just moved up to the Ocean Intermediate practice and parts of it are missing. When I use the app on my iPhone, it's all there. But not on this app. Will use my iPhone app until they fix it.

Wonderful for Beginners

The pictures are great at showing the positions and explaining them. The only complaint I have is that during the Ocean Exercise Session, there is no picture given for the chair position, although it is described which is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

Great, but...

I love the app but I wish you were able to create your own exercises from the pose library like you can on iPhone.

I normally don't go with simple UI (user interface) apps especially not ones with cartoon demonstrations but this app is outstanding. (In fact, the cartoon teacher takes away the intimidation of seeing a real person do it in a fashion that seems to look superior to how you are actually doing it at home!) Simple, gets the job done but not boring! Helpful dictionary of poses for newbies. Guided vocal direction is very easy to follow and it flows! No clicking to go to the next thing so bonus on the authenticity of having a real, uninterrupted yoga session in the comfort of your own home or wherever you may be. Choose your own scenery, difficulty, duration and even add your own music! Very professional. I just did my first session and feel wonderful! I would recommend this app, even though it's not free, it's worth it! :D Thumbs up!

Great App

I love that this app actually has lessons that flow the entire session. Most apps I find you have to continue to tap per pose. I love that you can choose between 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons. Great for all levels of experience. Since I bought this app I have been using it daily.

Exactly what I want

Beautiful app! There are a number of yoga routines which the instructor leads you through, at varying difficulties. The dictionary of poses is very nice for finding out details about any of the individual poses.

There are some parts of it missing

Parts of the app routines are missing that are available on its android counterparts. I like both versions, but it would be nice to not be stuck in the same pose for 10+ minutes because it's missing parts of the routine.
