Nice Pomodoro app

This is the 3rd or 4th app Pomodoro app I've tried and it's the one I like the best so far. My favorite feature is the ability to add tasks and then set focus on a task easily. The alerts are also great (5 minutes left, 1 minutes left, 30 seconds left. Timer is paused alerts). Good snapped mode display. I would have given it a 5 except for: - I can't get the breaks to work consistently. - It doesn't track internal v external interruptions (small complaint).

Most useful pomodoro app to date

I like the simplicity of this app and how easy it is to keep track of interruptions. It does work well even while in the background. It would be nice to have different categories of tasks, be able to organize them by priority by moving them up and down, and to be able to sync this app across all your devices. Thank you developer for a great effort. I hope to see some additional functionality in the future. 2/13/13 Summary does not come up when app is running in background. Please fix.

Excellent Pomodoro App

I'm using this app while studying to stay on track and really like it. Super simple to use and it tracks my time and even times when I'm interrupted. The charting screen is great for seeing how I've done over time and the timer runs in the background so I can keep other apps open in full screen. There have also been several updates to it. Highly recommended!

Only one task at a time?

I suppose the trial version is stripped down, but if I can't enter several tasks and test it more or less the way I would be using it, I won't buy it.

Good app

Really good app. I'm not going to buy it because I really would like a beep or something, instead of the voice saying 10 or 5 minutes.

  • Increase your productivity and concentration while working or studying
  • Create and track custom tasks
  • Stay focused on tasks
  • Understand how your "productive" time compares to your "interruption" time while working on tasks
  • Turn on timer clicks and/or voice prompts if you need extra help staying focused
  • The Pomodoro Focus live tile shows your tasks on the Start Screen
  • If you start another application your time will still be tracked in the background by Pomodoro Focus

App details

Version notes

Changed task titles to allow 60 characters based upon user requests and have a description. Based on multiple requests from users, Pomodoro Focus now supports background timer and notification functionality as well as new charting features! When you leave Pomodoro Focus to start another application the timer will continue to track your productive time (or interruption time). Notifications can be turned on or off in the Settings screen and will be shown at 5 minute, 1 minute, and 30 second intervals by default if Pomodoro Focus is running in the background. A final notification will be shown once the current sprint you're working on is completed. As tasks are completed you can chart your progress by viewing the new chart screen. If you'd prefer to always see the timer and task you're working on, "snap" the Pomodoro Focus application to the left or right of your screen (we show an example of this in the screenshots). Visit http://ow.ly/fuAWh for details on snapping an application.
