Windows touch version

Pepper Plate is a wonderful app on IOS but the Windows touch version is sorely lacking. No spell check, shopping list categories don't collapse when they're checked off like they do in the IOS version. The app is generally clunky and unattractive. I love Pepper Plate. My wife and I use it every week. I hope they fix the Windows version now that we're using Windows tablets.

I installed this app a while back but used it for the first time today. Created 2 recipes with no problem. Finished the third one and now the app freezes up. I can open the first two recipes but the third won't open. I can't return to the main screen but I can change to my shopping list, menu etc. I tried shutting down my computer and restarting but that didn't fix the issue. I really thought this was going to be a useful app so I'm very disappointed that its stopped working on my first try. Managed to fix the problem when I logged on to the Pepperplate website but the photos for my recipes still aren't showing up.

Works OK.

The menus get cluttered for larger lists. I do like the sync support. Need to have Windows Phone support as well. Images don't always show up on the Main Recipe page. Desperately needs the ability to print - at least for shipping lists. Providing nutritional estimation would be a killer feature.

Nice App but need improvement

Has great possibilities but needs adjustments. I like the website better.

Love the website and ipad app, this app is lacking

One of the greatest parts of the ipad app is that I can start typing the recipe name in the planner and it links to it. Not in the windows app. Also, navigating the app is difficult. A menu of buttons for the various parts of the app would be helpful. Until those things are addressed, I doubt I will use the windows app. The website is better.

Good Deal for Being a Free App!

The thing I love the most about Pepperplate is that compared to other recipe holders on the Windows store, it has a very nice format for the recipe cards. Everything is laid out attractively and easy to read while cooking. I don't have to scroll over to see my directions and then back to be able to view my ingredients. This has a very nice font and easy to read layout. I also LOVE that it scales recipes!! The only thing that would make it a 5star app in my book is adding more organization with the recipes. I would like to be able to categorize my recipes rather than have them all in a big clump.

App Does Not Sync - Worthless

I have been trying to get the developers to fix this Windows 8 app. It does not sync! This is useless if it doesn't sync with your web account. I have over 100 recipes and it stops every time at 39 recipes and does not sync to my web account. I have uninstalled, re-installed, loaded it other computers and still it doesn't sync. Support sent me some lame troubleshooting steps about my computer. The app has a bug. Please fix it or remove it from the store. If there is a recipe limit of 39, then market it that way!

Great AP but still needs a bit of work

I really love this ap, find a recipe on the web? Copy the URL and it imports everything. Select a few recipes to shop for, and off to the store you go. It's available my tablet, laptop, and desktop. Where it needs work....It doesn't synch well. If I add a recipe on my desktop, the only way to get it on my tablet is to reinstall the ap. The synch command doesn't work at all. Also, there needs to be an ap for the windows phone.

Great. Love this app, but have a question.

I love this app, especially since it's cross platform. It syncs beautifully among all my devices. One question I have, specifically for the Windows 8 app, is I cant find the button to paste a recipe URL to automatically add to my recipe list. Any help? Thanks
