Editing subscription has expired

The approximately 0.3 trillionths of a second between installation and the warning about your subscription expiring doesn't give me much confidence for the rest of the program's operations. Addendum: truly a stupendously useless application. Slow, ineffective and having not one useful feature for the job it is presumably designed to do.

I am sorry to see that you are unhappy with the app. The editing subscription is currently free and should last for 3 months between activations. If you are not experiencing this, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you to fix this and any other problems you are having with the app.

Easy to import your GED file. Makes it available mobile. Wish it could handle more notes. But having your genealogy mobile is a great app.

Overall, my experience with this app has been a very good one and I feel positive that my use of it will only get better as new and improved versions of this app are released. But what I've enjoyed most has been the excellent product support I've received from its developer whenever there were problems with this app. So THANK YOU Papillon Productions for making Genealogy-on-the-GO possible for Windows Phone users!

Awesome! I have a database of over 1900 families, all descendants of my fourth great-grandfather. Now I can take this information with me everywhere. Awesome app.

Sloppy Navigation, Not user friendly

Can only see 1 branch at a time, no "help" button, no explanation on how to use. Needs user friendly ways to connect pics or files with individual ancestor. Buttons that are visible are not clear on what they do. "import" gives error that there is nothing associated. Don't even know what that means.

Don't know if it works; need to be able to load from gedcom file on my SD card, but it only allows from SkyDrive. Developer: Please allow loading from device files as well. Thanks.

Slow and crashes, utter rubbish.

I am sorry that you are unhappy with the app. I can see from the developer reports that Microsoft supplies that the app does seem to be unstable under Windows 10, although nobody has contacted me directly about this. I will start to investigate further to see why this might be happening.

Worth about what I paid for it

Can read Gedcom files but can't edit and it is only fair as far as searching. Cannot deal with large gedcoms.

Version notes

This release: More work on improving app stability. Previous releases: Bug fixes and improvements to app stability. Collection of anonymous usage data and crash information to help improve future versions of the app. Display of RIN value on user records. Royal Family is now added as a database rather than imported from a GEDCOM file. Improvements to import/export/backup UI. Supports import & export of Relative History databases, plus improved export of a database as a GEDCOM file. The app also provides backup functionality to allow a database to be backed up to OneDrive; at the moment this needs to be done manually but a future release will support automatic backups.
