Getting Better

The app works really well across devices, the UI could be a lot better but I am pleased with it.

Why no sync?

No sync, kind of silly

Limited Sync options - Import Issue

Why is there no WiFi sync option? I really don't want my passwords in the cloud, and would love to be able to sync this to my desktop; like my Windows Phone 8 app. I went ahead and did an export to vID from my desktop, copied the file to my Surface RT, then did an import. Mostly ok, but the customizations I made to the types didn't come over.

Lacking critical functionality

The ios and blackberry versions of Splashid can sync with desktop. There is NO Windows syncing version of SplashID. Bad bad bad......

Good Start

It is missing a few of the features of the phone and desktop version, but it is very useable and a nice start.

Doesn't compare to LastPass or RoboForm

there is no browser integration or auto-fill feature. there are other password managers that integrate with OneDrive to sync passwords that are free. Why would I pay for this to sync my passwords if I'm still copying and pasting passwords into my browser when LP or RF can do it automatically?

disappointed

splashID had always been my favorite password safe since back in the days of using it with my Palm. Now only giving me the option of No Sync or signing up for their cloud service has put a damper on this once stellar program. If they hadn't already hoodwinked me with the lifetime license I would be removing this program and moving on.

Does not sync WiFi

I think after 10 years, I am done trying to keep SplashID working and syncing with my PC's. My Windows 8 PC does not sync in the Desktop version and I don't even have the option to Wifi sync in the 8 metro version. Now they want more money for licenses that don't work and my phone has the only database that is up to date. I have to move it manually to the PC in order to get a working version on the PC. The user interface on the Desktop version is 10 years old, so I don't see why I should continue to buy this product for all the frustration it brings and certainly no improvement their user interface.

Moved from Moxier Wallet...

Since Moxier shuttered its Wallet app, I looked and researched a variety of apps to replace, what I felt, was a perfect app. I feel that SplashID is a fantastic replacement. In some ways it is better.

Splash ID Safe

I've used this app since the Palm days. It works ok but is very slow with up dates. Still can't auto populate credit card data etc. Norton safe works great and allows for auto populate from favorites .
