Impatient people should change their negative feedback

Texture on my Windows desktop is not immediately as responsive as Texture on my Android is. For starters, if you have a long Texture account history already, the initial connection and download from your account is going to take a while. Mine took about 20 minutes of me thinking it was doing nothing. Then each issue you read has to fully download before the fonts will read clearly, less than 3 to 5 minutes per issue. But after all that, the app is flawless, like its Android counterpart.

App doesn't work on Windows 10!

So frustrating beyond belief. The app on Windows 10 does nothing but install. Then when I open it, there is only a screen of magazine issues. I had a subscription a year ago and then I cancelled it because I could never open the app. I thought a year later, Texture/Next Issue would open their eyes, read the horrible reviews and fix the problems. The concept of dozens of digital magazines at your fingertips is wonderful; the app is not. I am able to use the app with no problems on my IPhone 6; however, it uses too much of my data usage to download a magazine and I would also prefer to read the magazine issues on my laptop, where the screen is larger. I signed up for the free week trial but reconsidering after it expires. $15 per month is a great deal, but not if I can't read my magazines on my laptop! Texture/Next Issue, PLEASE read these reviews and do something!!

Needs alot of improvement

The android version 10 times better than this windows version. Needs a lot of improvement. Needs ability to go back to thru pages with a scroll bar. Pinch to zoom in all magazines is needed. Table of contents and ability to quickly jump to another section by table of contents

Great Content - Lousy App

The concept and content is great but the app is buggy, not intuitive and cumbersome. Really badly written and should be completely rewritten with a clean easy to understand and use interface.

Like the subscription, hate the app!!

I love this service, but I miss the "Next Issue" app. This app totally sucks. It keeps crashing and doesn't show the feature stories like the other app did. Having to use this app has significantly reduced my enjoyment of this service and am considering cancelling my subscription if this app doesn't get some fixes soon.

This app really does suck

I read all the negative reviews, but downloaded it anyway. I switched from my iPad to a SurfacePro4, but still wanted my magazines. Unfortunately, all the negative reviews were right. My iPad app is ten times better.

Better! but still hangs up and need reinstall often

Make certain that this app is selected to "run in the background" for saving Issues to work correctly. Some users may turn this option off to save battery power - but if it's left OFF - the app will not work. Overall working ok. Seems to be slow, maybe a bit buggy when moving from one app to another then back to this app. I get a black screen sometimes. Good magazines for the money.

Love the concept but the app is horrible.

It's a great concept for someone like me who loves to read magazines but the app is horrible. It's slow to load, it crashes constantly, can't pinch to zoom in on some mags and the zoom button doesn't work. The newest problem I have is that I can't open any mags in portrait or if I open in portrait and rotate to landscape, the app crashes. I switched from an Android tablet to a Windows tablet because the Android app was terrible too and it would bog down my tablet. Next Issue needs to fire whomever makes their software and make something that works or I'll be canceling my subscription!

Great Content, usually works

Have used this for about 18 months and is a great way to get access and read a wide variety of magazines. Worked fine after Win10 upgrade. However, since the latest update to Win10, and after Norton upgrade, cannot get access to a magazine. It downloads and then shuts down. Will see how support responds to the trouble ticket.
