Love this app got this along with the Android version. App is worth the $20.00 on both because it just kicks the stock email apps out of the water!! Keep up the good work

Touch down

This a good email exchange account for windows 8.1. I have used it on the android side and this is just as usable.

Terrible App - DO NOT PURCHASE

You should not pay. This is bad even if it was free. Forces close often. Does not synchronize between servers all the time. So if you read or delete mail on Touchdown, be prepared to duplicate on other machine. Their software works great with the same server on the android platform. But windows seemed rushed and very unstable. APP IS BAD

Needs Update

I've owned this app for months and there have been no updates since the original release. For $20, I would expect to see at least one update every 2 or 3 months. As it is now, it has limited functionality for email and does not perform as well as the built in Mail app. Very disappointed by Touchdown.

Very good ...but not on Windows 8

I have the paid version on my android phone and its brilliant therefore I decided to try the windows version. It still needs a lot of work and the developers should have released this (windows) version as a beta and not expect anyone to pay for an obviously buggy app, not ready to be released.

Poor implementation of an email/calendar app

This is my only option to sync my work email/calendar/contacts, and it is a very poor app. Contacts do not all sync, cannot search for contacts when writing an email, email constantly syncs, syncs, and re-syncs. Looses all information and says folders are not set up to sync when 5 mins ago I was replying to emails. Cannot understand how they can charge $19.99 for software that is not reliable. Do not use.

Inferior by far to Android version

I have purchased TD for my HTC Android phone, Kindle Fire HD, and a Lenovo Android tablet. All the aforementioned versions provided corporate GAL (global address look up). This version does not appear to do so. The other versions synchronized quickly and pushed notifications real time. I have been unable to find a way to o this--the synchronization is slow and lags behind by hours, and there is no notification option I have found. There are other issues as well, but I am not trying to create a detailed bug report here.

Key Features Missing

The biggest problem I have is the lack of a live tile. There should be two available, one for email and one for calendar. Background sync was spotty at best and the toast notifications never worked.

Has potential

Background sync would not work. I use it on my android phone though. Still looking for something with a bit more than the Microsoft Mail

Used to be great

Love the new interface, but it crashes constantly. Deleting multiple items now takes forever. Please fix it!!

  • Application or System level Password enforcement
  • Encryption of data on the device if corporate policies mandate it
  • Single, seamless navigation between emails, contacts, tasks, calendar and notes
