Great resource

If your interested in programming and certificates, MS has a great series of lessons and this help visualize what you need to take. Go to Microsoft Visual Academy for more info.

Handy but Incomplete

It's handy when you are focusing on what exams are needed and what track to take. This can act as a reminder as a tile on your start menu, but it's too static. Needs more interactive content like exam samples built into the app for self-appraisal.

Where's the Windows 8 app?

Even a badly designed, break all the principals app can make it through App Certification it seems. And this app breaks almost all of the design rules that a Windows 8 app is supposed to follow. Authentically digital? No. Win as one with contracts like search and share? No. Semantic Zoom? No. Content before chrome? No. This is its biggest grievance. Large areas of the screen taking up by navigation and non-value pictures and placeholders. Add a little thought into this app of how a user might want to use the content, add some animation, different kinds of navigation, remove the chrome, make the information discoverable / searchable and shareable, add the ability to track a user's certification journey and I think it would be a useful app. As is, not at all.

Good start

I think that it is a great start for the app that is to be a guide through Microsoft certifications, but I think that it would be awesome, fantastic and completely incredible if it were to integrate with items such as MVA and MCITP network to determine what certifications that you have so that you can see like little pins and things like that for what you earned and then it kind of put them out of sight so that when you are looking through the information it is not cluttered with items that you already have completed. At the very least there should be a way to just select it manually, but I think that it would be incredibly cool if they just integrated it from the Microsoft Account information that is already there.

Too static. Missing Integration

A bit too static, the interactivity is more than a PDF, but about the same as a web site. A killer feature that would add a ton of value to this would be to allow linking into my exam profile and tie in my existing progress to what is being displayed.

Incredible Resource: Microsoft Certs and training

This tool is so easy to use and understand what certifications and training maps where. There is even a guidance section outlining buzz terms and job roles. Thanks for creating and making this available!

Needs Much more.

I am looking to get recertified and this app helps plot that course, But it would be helpful if it logged into Microsoft to show my what certs I do have and where I need to go. Would also help If it could then Print My certificates and card right from the app. This app could be so much more with just a few features.

A Pointless App

This is just a leaflet in an app with no additional value. You might just want to download a PDF and create a desktop shortcut instead.

Better off with the PDF

This app takes a simple idea and adds unnecessary complexity. You would be better served just to get the PDF.
