A quirky and comely actress beloved for playing stunningly dumb blondes, Kudrow first made audiences laugh with her recurring role as a ditzy waitress named Ursula on Mad About You. Two years later, she landed her star-making part as an airheaded folksinger (who just happened to be Ursula's twin sister) on Friends. During the sitcom's 10-year run, Kudrow branched out into movies and smartly took on darker roles in a number of edgy independent films, such as The Opposite of Sex and Clockwatchers, as well as supporting comic turns in Hollywood blockbusters like Analyze This. Although Friends ended in 2004, Kudrow returned to the small screen the following year in the HBO series The Comeback, playing a washed-out actress desperate for another shot at success in Hollywood. While it only lasted a season, The Comeback has since earned a cult following and was named as one of the ten best television shows of the decade by Entertainment Weekly. In her spare time, Kudrow enjoys playing video games with her son Julian.
