Pretty Happy with this purchase

While I've never really been one for new gadgets, my old HTC8X screen broken and I figured it was time to find something new. - I researched quite a bit on Windows phones and had negative experiences with Nokia so that was off my list. With Nokia off my radar and my personal dislike of Apple and Android, There really wasn't much out there to choose from for a Windows phone. - I saw the ACER Liquid Jade Primo for Windows 10 and was quite skeptical and waited about 9 months before I finally mustered up the composure to plunk down what I consider to be a large amount of money on a phone. I've had this for about 5 months and been pretty happy with it. - Coming from the HTC 8X, I was happily surprised with all of the Apps that were available for this phone that I had no idea were even out there on my HTC 8X. Granted there are not nearly as many as my girlfriend gets with her Samsung device, but I really haven't not found anything missing that I can't live without. - The Screen is a bit big in my opinion and hard to use 1 handed, the battery life is borderline acceptable when in use. - Standby time is pretty good, but be prepared to charge it daily if you talk, text or use apps a lot. The screen resolution is very good, the touch controls work well after you get used to them. ( typing on the onscreen keyboard is a bit hit or miss with some letters ) The camera is pretty good and the pictures look great. The speakerphone works well for talking as long as you hold the phone close. - If you try and use speakerphone while setting the phone on your desk, the other party will only make out about 1/2 of your words. - The speaker works well while listening on the phone, or listening to Pandora, the headphone jack works well too. I have used the continum feature a few times and it works well. - Not sure I would want to use it all the time, but I have had opportunity to add OneNotes and add to spreadsheets and *.doc files with no problems. - The keyboard and mouse both work great, but the keyboard needs a power button. The only things I really do not like about this phone are the stupid BING search button on the bottom, and I personally can not stand the Microsoft Edge Browser. - For some reason, it never returns the same results as Google does. All in all, I am glad I purchased this phone. - The Gorilla Glass is strong and clear, the phone feels good, and has performed well over the past 5 months. - Pretty pleased with the purchase. - Hopefully his will last another 5 years as that's about how long I had my 8X. Side Note: although the factory supplied phone case/cover works well, I got tired of always flipping it open and the only available gel cases are in Europe, but I bought one and it has been great. - Also the type C Charging cable is not something that any of my other devices use, so I did have to buy a few spares to use the phone at work, home and charge it on the nightstand. Lastly, I use this on T-Mobile in the US and the phone has the ability to accept 2 SIMs or 1 SIM and a storage card. - - I just use the 1 SIM .

Great Features & Desktop on 1 Phone.

The Acer Liquid Jade Primo is an phone then transformed to an Desktop Computer. I like the design of the Liquid Jade Primo. No other mobile OS can use Desktop Features for expample Apple IOS or Google's Android cannot do that so i'm so happy with the Liquid Jade Primo and Windows 10 Mobile.

Great phone

Sadly the included Bluetooth mouse and keyboard can't be connected. Forcing us to buy a separate wireless keyboard/mouse which eats up a USB slot. Very not cool. It's great otherwise.

This is awesome!

I hope that Continuum catches on, cuz it is pretty cool. I am a OneNote junkie, and it works really great on the big screen. Word and Edge move well, too. Ironically, the Microsoft Store site was a little slow, but the other sites i've visited move well. I bought the bundle (I think that is all you can buy), and i am very pleased. The phone itself is nice - very thin metal case, big screen. It reminds me a bit of my old HTC One. Solid feel. The only gripe i have is the power cord. It uses a proprietary connector, and it doesn't have a good feel like a USB cable does. I have been using the dock to charge. The accessories are fine - the dock has 3 USB ports and a HDMI connector. The mouse and keyboard are fine. No gripes. Overall, i am pleased. Glad i took the plunge.
