Fine pieceeeee

classic gaming laptop one thing is less is SSD is necessary for these type of laptops.

Nice Price but a Couple Issues

Used this computer for less than a week. While this computer does come with a lot of good specs, it does have it's problems. *Speakers* If you browse the internet about the i7559, you'll find lots of people having static/hissing and popping noise with this computer. The popping noise occurs when the computer starts using speakers and can be fixed with HKEY editing. The faint static noise occurs whenever the speakers are being used and appears be coming from the front instead of the subwoofer. Unfortunately, it isn't solvable as I've tried updating Realtek, Bios, and various other methods posted. *Fake 4K RG/BW Pentile / Application Fuzziness* As many users have pointed out, This isn't a true 4k display but rather 4K RG/BW Pentile. This may be causing many application to be fuzzy/blurry on the 3840x2160 resolution and if you try to 'fix' it by disabling display scaling on high DPI settings, you'll end up with texts the size of ants. Overall Great Price for Performance and features, but be wary of some problems.

Came for the SSD and wasn't dissapointed.

I bought this on special for my wife so, her old MacBook Pro was just to out of date to do much of anything. She hadn't used a PC in so long, it's a good thing that Windows 10 is so easy to use, touchscreen doesn't hurt either. The other idea behind purchase was so she could game with me, since the MacBook was pretty much useless for that. Let me tell you it has really performed beyond hopes and dreams! I don't know if it's the SSD, (yeah 1TB SSD), or the decent GPU, or the I7 but it hasn't batted an eye yet. Runs Conan on ultra and is very playable, although I admit I don't know the FPS just because there's been no stutters so I don't look. But even with the Elder Scrolls Online it's great. I don't know I don't think we currently play a game that will test it to it's limit. If we played FPS games maybe it would matter, but not so far. It really has been the best purchase, I mean if you want the screen is 4K you can set the settings even higher!

Pretty good, but a few issues

I bought this laptop because my old one was broken down. I bought that one 3 years ago, as a freshman in college, and went through the problems most new computer owners do. Wrong websites, trusting windows defender. It couldn't run games well either. This was toted as a gaming laptop, with abilities to work well on everything else. From the start though, it would shut off on its own, at weird times, and freeze up. I found myself wondering about the warranty more than once. It got better after a few windows updates though. But it froze again about an hour ago. When it comes to games, it works great. Scaling issues exist, but more so on the other end, than the computers fault. It really is quite good, it just acts up some times. And the extra fans only kick on during gaming, or if you've got a bunch of tabs open in web. I'm thinking of getting a laptop, and transferring some of my games over there. But I still have a bunch of space in the hard drive and memory. I do recommend it, if you know how to deal with the bugs.

I brag to my coworkers about this laptop!

Great Dell from the Microsoft store for a great price. Fun nd easy to DIY upgrade with ITB SSD and additional 8Gb RAM. My Nephew can Demo his game skills and I can at least try to keep up... Right? Compare the price to any other laptop with an Intel quad core I7 and Nvidia GTX GPU!, The 4 K is for big sharp beautiful Netflix Movies and shows on the move. A classic '57 Chevy-like design from Dell... I may buy a second copy justi in case mine's stolen 'cause I love it and you can't beat this price for performance

Really nice surprise

Just got this from a Microsoft Store. Signature edition is awesome! First impression is this laptop has a really nice 4K screen that is welcoming to the eyes. Great for reading and viewing pictures. Slightly better than the retina display of my older MacBook Pro. Would you believe the sound coming from the laptop is surprisingly good. Did not expect a laptop to have decent bass. Upgrade to SSD is a necessity to feel the speed. So convenient to open the bottom of the laptop and add a m.2 SSD. I like the tactile feel of the body with a soft touch of rubber. Aluminum body of other laptops look great but don't feel right when the environment is cold. Will be using this laptop for large data analytics and also photography/video editing. Going for a MacBook Pro with the same specs is just too expensive. The Dell 7559 is a good deal for the power and expandability. Now if they made this powerhouse lighter.... A couple of thoughts of what Dell could have improved: 1) update of Windows 10 and drivers took a really long time - a whole night for Windows 10 and the following night for the BIOS and drivers (one time pain for so much gain), 2) the fans are noisy but immediately settle to silence, 3) the Dell support software could be improved. The Dell support software kept on registering I need the same driver even after install/reboot.

It work fast but...

It performs well, but it's too hot.

Awesome laptop for the price

I bought this laptop to replace my other laptop that crashed and it has been great ever since. The detail is stunning on this laptop and the color is awesome. I did upgrade my ram to 16gb and install an m.2 525gb ssd. The computer was fast before the install but I wanted to put all my program files on a ssd which drastically increased the bootup time.

It's an excellent laptop, after the replacement.

I had a rather unpleasant experience when I made my first purchase. And the same has happened to other customers, as I have read. I did the purchase of a Dell Inspiron 7559 laptop. On the first shipment this laptop had battery and trackpad faults. I had to ask for a replacement product. And they took very good care of my claim. In this second shipment the laptop works excellent without any problem. Now be very satisfied with this purchase. The thing is, it is not the first time they send a defective product on the first purchase. Microsoft should be careful about the products they sell. It would be excellent that in your first purchase the product did not have any type of problem and not wait for a replacement.
