good and easy to use

Was planning to use the product for market analysis, but instead it's sitting in some empty directory -- rotting. I use to be able to perform quick calculations and get to the point, but now I have to work through dozens of problems to do a simple task.

Super slow, every time I do an update I always have to change my default application to MS Excel 2011. I give the update a try and simple AppleScripts and moving from box to box is super slow even on a Mac Pro with 32 GB of RAM. MS Word seems just fine though.

We have Office installed throughout our company. We purchased the stand-a-lone version of Excel to begin exploring the BI tool set such as Powerpivot... The software required that we uninstall all office software (which we purchased also) in order to install this Excel version. In the past this was not a problem.

What if I need to remove everything ?

How do I down load again if I have to redown load again window ?? what do I do ???

Doesn't work with 32 bit Office?

Do not buy this product unless you have all 64 bit Office and system! How can Microsoft sell this product! They have some of the most brilliant software engineers in the world but they can't make their own product work with older versions? Ridiculous!

Worst Commercial software I have ever used.

I have used excel for years for the majority of my working day. I have built complex spreadsheets topping 30Mb on excel 2003, 2007 and 2010 with no problems. I have always raved at how powerful and useful excel is. This version however, is so bad that a 'one sheet' workbook crashes if I try to copy some data from a different spreadsheet and paste as values. I have had a spreadsheet crash and revert to a previous version 10+ 'saves' ago losing over an hour of work. This version is so bad and infuriating, if I could seek compensation from Microsoft for the amount of hours lost over the past two months since 'upgrading' I would most definitely do so. It is criminal that this version has been made available to the public.

I don't undrstand some of the features.

I've been using the program for 25 years. I started using it at work.

This 'update' is horrible!!!

It takes fifteen steps to do something I used to be able to do in two. What's with the whole not being able to view two workbooks in the same window anymore? Or how about when you split view, it takes up the whole screen instead of just staying in the space you allotted? I have to use Excel at work and had to upgrade to a new computer... I had no choice and now I'm stuck with this garbage 'upgrade' which makes my job take longer than before with additional steps to get things done. If you don't have to... DON'T 'upgrade'. Microsoft... This is a regression. PLEASE fix this!
