Great, when you clean install...

Upgraded from 8 to 10, then it got hung on version 1511 and would not move past there. I wasted so much time trying to delete old updates, re download them. It kept reverting back to a prior version of windows... I wasted days, hours, cursed, it brought out the very worst in me... If I would only have done what I tried to avoid in the beginning. Here's the fatal problem with Windows 10 when you upgrade from 7, 8, 8.1... You carry with you this incredibly long chain of updates. The probability you are going to have an error increases with every update as your chain of updates gets longer. Because you already have Windows 10, Microsoft allows you to download an ISO file of windows with an installation software and you can put it on a usb drive. When you are done downloading you can boot off of the usb drive. I cloned my original hard drive to a SSD so this was easy. To boot off the hard drive, press and hold down F2 while you computer is starting. Then you can change boot option to usb. Windows installation software starts and you can then wipe your hard drive clean and do a fresh install of Windows 10. You then need to download your drivers for your computer from your manufacturer. This whole process took less than 30 minutes. Now my computers are ultra fast and I don't have to worry about update errors... Microsoft should explain this process to people!

Too much invasion of privacy and personal data col

I don't like the amount of personal data collected with this or any other software produced by large corporations. Slow performance, and Edge causes too many conflicts with other MS programs.

Best Windows Yet!

I agree with some other reviewers, upgrade your hardware. On current hardware Windows 10 runs rock hard stable. Fastest boot times ever. My wife is disabled and uses a Surface Pro with touch. Microsoft is far ahead of the 'others' when it comes to accessibility.

Windows works great!

We upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 as soon as we could. It was a smooth upgrade and we have had minimal problems with it.

Win 7 was a much better product

Windows a a much better product. Faster and easier to use. I don't appreciate being forced to settle for Win 10

From Vista to Windows 10

I upgraded my computer from Vista to Windows. after doing so and having to back up everything possible if you do decide to upgrade from Vista to Windows 10 make sure you backup your desktop anything like that because you will lose it. right now I'm trying to get the scanner to work on my printer which is a total different setup which I'm trying to figure out ,otherwise it's okay program. I had Windows 7 on my laptop which I was used to which I can Zippity Doo Dah through it, but Windows 10 is a little bit harder to deal with. recommend it.... if you really want to try it go ahead but I wouldn't go any higher than 8

Impossible to link to boot camp

I bought this to use with mac but the instructions for downloading and using with boot camp are incomplete. Seems like whoever wrote them had no interest in whether they would be effective or not. Why not just say 'we don't care' and be done with it?

Bricked my computer

Despite the fact that my system meets all the listed technical requirements, Microsoft now tells me my Dell Laptop is actually not compatible with Windows 10. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to know that until after running the install program which erased my previous operating system before. Now I have a computer that doesn't work, can't be restored, and a copy of Windows 10 that's completely useless. (And have been hung up on 3 times while trying to get customer support.)
