Perfectly portable!

I use it for 5 month ago. It's my secondary PC. I use it for taking notes at the University with OneNote and I love it. I can take it with myself to anywhere. I use it with a Surface Pen and the eraser is working well too. The battery life is awesome, I can use it all day, taking notes, browse, and watch movies. The front camera is enough for Skype. The fingerprint reader is working well, and I like the position of this. The screen resolution is not enough for reading a book, but I can learn from my notes with this screen. I prefer the 3:4 or the 2:3 aspect ratio, but the 16:10 a bit better than the 16:9 :) I'm waiting for a 2in1 like this, with Surface style, 10 inch display with 3:4 or 2:3 aspect ratio and minimum 200ppi with minimum i3 or m3 intel processor, because the Intel Atom is really slow, and sometimes sluggish. That's why it can be for good for a secondary 2in1 if you have a real laptop, but I can't recommend it for a first PC, because you will hate it!

Nice but

All-in-one devices are the best, not Surface but it's very nice. I have many tablets, two in one devices and this one is the best because it's complete. Having 4 GB RAM is what make this device smooth. Thanks to ASUS. Windows unstable 10 weekly issues are kind of annoying but Windows is 100% better then Garbage Google or Apple's products. ASUS SALES department is a joke, I damaged my keyboard on this unit and I am trying to buy a replacement and they can't help me. kept sending me to ASUS PC accessories page and the page doesn't have replacement keyboard for this unit. Yes they have other Bluetooth keyboards. I think ASUS sales department should learn from SAMSUNG. Microsoft sale this product but they don't carry replacement for this unit. If your warranty is over and if you damage your keyboard, you and I are out of luck. Microsoft or ASUS can't even answer where you and I can buy the replacement for this unit. Think before buying any more ASUS products. What a joke!

Great portable for the price!

I ordered this as I wanted a reasonable size tablet for basic web browsing and some home office applications. I have a large gaming laptop and it is not always convenient if I want to watch a movie in bed or check in on social media. I am very pleased with the performance of the device. It exceeds my expectations in almost all areas. Pros: Cost, quality, runs very cool, comes with keyboard and active pen, great battery life. Cons: Charge port wiggles a lot as seems poor quality, Screen resolution is not as nice as some of the more expensive competitors, charge time is insane (6 hours from 29% to full using included charger). In closing most of the "cons" listed above are more than understandable considering the lower cost of the device and I think this is a great secondary device or primary if your needs are mostly internet and home office. The display is lower resolution but looks great on streaming services like Netflix. I just wish the charge port was built better.

Great Style, Poor Performance

I purchased this for travel and LOVED the size, weight, style, and battery life. It was, however, much slower to boot up and I had much more challenge navigating and using Windows 10than a similar Chromebook device I have, which is "on" instantly and is much more simple to operate. I had several situations of it not starting up and having to do special boots to start it. I returned the Windows 10 device.

Shuts off intermittently

I purchased this little tablet to reduce my workload. It shuts off intermittently requiring me to sign back in each time. Sometimes it will shut down 5x in row when it was just turned on. I have tried online support which does not work as this is a hardware issue. I have sent it back 2x and they wiped it both times which also does not correct a hardware issue. Now they want to send me a recertified tablet instead. Really, if I wanted to buy a recertified tablet I would have done that initially. They promised last time that they would replace it. LOL as if I would not notice that it is the same tablet and they just wiped it. Plus now that they wiped it I lost Microsoft word that I downloaded and purchased as a one time thing. They say the tablet works with Microsoft word but to be honest I cannot verify that as it keeps shutting down and as you know if you do not safe word it is gone. Needless to say I have spent endless hours on this now! It has not reduced my work load!!

Excellent Low Price Tablet

I bought this last December to replace an existing budget tablet of the same size that was failing. This tablet has been a pleasure to use. The screen has excellent resolution and the processing power is good considering the price. The 2.4 GHz WiFi is weak, but the 5 GHz is strong and I take this everywhere in the house. I use it for reading books, reading e-mail and more casual work on the Internet. I use a laptop for heavy duty work, but I copy the laptop data to a micro-SD card to have a backup copy on the tablet that I use basically in a read only mode. I love the detachable keyboard, although, I get in trouble from time to time when I brush my fingers on the touchpad. I should probably turn it off, but I use it just often enough to make that inconvenient. The pen does an excellent job, but I have not really found a need for it. The price has come down $50 since I bought mine, I think it is an excellent value.

DO NOT BUY ASUS!!!!! Customer support is HORRIBLE!

Have had BIG problems with my ASUS since I bought one for my business! After seeking support the first month I owned it, they removed most of the software. Still had big problems. They would not replace it. It shuts down intermittently. It is absolute junk!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Great portable travel device or secondary device

I bought this as a travel device since it's really light. I added a 64GB microSD and used it as a mount point volume for additional storage. The only issue I've noticed so far is the WiFi speed. The bandwidth was only about half of my other mobile devices. Thanks to a few suggestions from a few forums, I was able to upgrade from Atheros QCA9377 driver version 12.0.0.26X to 12.0.0.285 which doubled the bandwidth speed where it should be.

Good Looking Mini with BAD Support/Customer bService

I love this this Mini when I first purchased. Unfortunately, BLOOTOOTH sucks, VOLUME is way low and now SCREEN goes blank for about a minute and comes back (for no reason why??). Sent to ASUS for Repair, came back same. The power supply block runs very HOT since delivery that I have been using a regular USB charger. Be Careful, there's ONLY one micro port for charging!! The Customer support at ASUS are too much in a hurry to listen while on the phone....
