ATUM is a game that pulls the player into a world where the player is the mechanic. It brings a novelty take on the point-and-click gameplay of previous generations and it combines it with ‘platformer puzzles. The game plays with the concept of multi-layer gameplay, dipping its layers in mathematical loops and philosophical recurrences. The design and the aesthetics are influenced by sci-fi classics like Blade Runner and Martian Time Slip by Philip K. Dick. There are many in-game references to our sources of inspiration that complement the underlying storyline, using the environment as a narrative device. “You Are Here, reads the legend on that map. Which one is you? Does it matter? Your finger is a pointer on a screen.” —Gene Van TroyeMore

Works well on Dual-boot (7&8.1) but too SHORT
I thought I was getting to the end of the first map or something. The access code simply started the entire game over from cut-scene. Needs to be a bit longerMore
Fun and Beautiful
The white world you are actually in and the computer world are two amazingly designed aspects of this game. I don't understand what others mean by a purple screen but I'm playing it on a Lenovo Ultrabook 2-in-1 and that might be why. I recommend this game, it's one of the better ones out there. I do wish that it was a bit longer, though. I feel like this could be even more amazing than it already is.More
Pretty cool game
The gameplay is kinda cool but the mechanics of having to use the mouse at the same time as using the arrows keys makes the screen go haywire, you'll be looking at a puzzle, but the screen will go off somewhere else in the distance when you try to move the mouse. Fun game even if it's only about 10 minutes of gameplay, then it recycles itself from the beginning.More
Purple screen of death
All I can load is a loading screen and then a purple screen of death with some background music. Can RT computers not play this game?More
