cool strategy game

nice game but pretty pricey for what you get. Need to buy even more if you want variety. My biggest complaint is lack of game statistics and ability to "save" the players you want to compete with. A real pain to have to set them up each time you play a game! For the price, the customer really should get a whole lot more value. And every time they do a major upgrade it seems you have to buy it again.

Fun, but flawed.

Decent implementation, but still not as good as iOS. AI can be not just dumb but also absurd. Like placing the 2-meeple piece as a farmer in a completely enclosed farm. Other UI improvements would be welcome: rewind or last score viewer to see how the game scores certain events, which otherwise go by too quickly to assess. Also, on game score screen, add button to view completed board, ideally with a button to step through the scoring for review. Not being able to view the completed map takes away one of the great satisfactions of Carcassonne. These last suggestions would at least be easier to implement than AI improvements or fixing scoring bugs.

Remains Faithfully True Feelwise. The game runs great for me. I haven't had any crashes. It is smooth and the sound effects are great. If you love Carcassonne tile laying game, this digital rendition will thrill you! My only complaint is the cloud drive option in settings is grayed out for some reason on Windows Phone 8.1. I'd really like to share my games across my phone and my tablet.

I bought the tangible game some time ago and loved it, decided this would be a fun way to play more. It is easy to use and visually appealing. Thanks!

Stop Asking for a Reveiw

AI makes stupid mistakes. App works fine. Only writing a review so it won't ask anymore. Update: It keeps asking me for a review even though I submitted one, so I've lowered the rating. Update: Seriously, I've updated the review and it still is asking for a review. Also, even the "strongest" AI make horrible mistakes (e.g. putting a farmer inside a circle of roads--blocking itself--Not putting an available meeple down when completing an unclaimed city because its goal was to complete a road.)

Great game and App

The game play seems to work pretty fast when playing online. Playing solo with options as to which versions you want is super cool. I wish I could figure out how to play with people I know. Plus perhaps a way to chat or say Good Game afterwards would be nice. Otherwise, very weel done and very enjoyable.

Addictive, but too easy

I love the game dynamics and the pictures made from completing a building or path. It's very satisfying. The NPC, however, are completely inadequate. I win 97% of the time which is WAY more often than when I play the actual TableTop game with friends.

In my opinion the best game on my phone. Every game is still challenging.

great when family isn't around to play board games

Pretty true to the game. Change up characters to keep it interesting. One glitch occurs where it freezes or shuts down the game when there are 25 to 30 pieces left.

Great recreation of the board game

This tablet version of Carcassonne does a great job of translating over the board game experience. It is possibly an even better play experience and it is a great application for tablet gaming!
