I rarely will buy a game because I find that they just don't cut it, They don't live up to the hype, but this game really played the way they said. I also like the storyline. The graphics and sound fx are good as well. I have always liked turn-based games the best, and this one is good.

Great game

movement is better that the old games. Only problem is if you leave the game for a potty break or something the mouse crashes and you have to play with keyboard til you save or close the app and lose your progress. Playing on PC win 10 update from win 7

Great game

I think it's a great game. Can stop and pick it back up anytime. Can play offline or online, and it keeps getting updated with levels / areas. Always a fan of the turn by turn games. Wish there was more public support and info on it though.

I love this game, it is a great set down & kill time game. I just can't wait for Dragon's Blade II (for my 8.1 tablet).

Great Game!

Brought me back to my roots of gaming. It has an awesome nostalgic feel to and yet provides quite a bit of content that spices it up and gives it some new age tricks. Well worth the purchase, you will be playing for hours!

The finer points of gaming

This game is certainly one of the better games for the Windows 8 store, but more than that it is a game in which takes many of us back to the early days where games were challenging in their simplicity and the though it lacks a real storyline, It is a game in which can curb your boredom for times to come. I suggest highly that you pay the 1.99 cost for this game because in the end it is a game that is worth more than that. Sure the music can get annoying from time to time and the maps look alike, but when it comes down to it... it is a classic RPG made MMO with the online feature that is built in. To get online click the meter bar tab and create your name and you are online with others in a moment's time. Great game, cant wait to see if there will ever be group functionality like in Nestalgia but in honesty I can settle for the nerdgasm that this game gives here. Great Game.

Dragon's Blade - A Great Game, but

The free version takes you through level 20, to go further you must buy the next installment. It is interesting and addicting. I spent many hours at the computer with this game. The big problem is that the author has left all of his loyal customers hanging by not publishing the installment following level 25. You cannot complete the quest, because the publishers has not yet seen fit to publish it, nor to explain the long delay to fans on his web site or facebook page. I'd give it five stars if not for this.

So much fun for so little a price! This game is worth far more than 2 bucks. Dragon's Blade DX gives countless hours of MMORPG enjoyment. It's money well spent!

PC users is not very important

Been playing for little now, here is my experience. If enjoy having lvl 25 max on pc while players on other devices can hit over lvl 100, then this is a good game. If don't mind having other people talking constantly of mine wars, chains, and many other thing not available to pc, then this is a good game. And now owner sabotaging game on purpose so he can focus on part 2 of game that is not available on pc, if ok with that, then this is a good game. I wont lie, one of best games I ever played, want to give 5 stars, but us pc users are not very important, good game, but be warned. For me is old school NES RPG made online with much difficulty, just not sure why is on PC when PC not cared about by owner, and now being tossed away by him, so much potential in pc users, but he not doing nothing for pc, so great game, but just going down hill, game pretty dead cuz of these things.

Return to turn based RPG

I've really been missing the classic turn based rpg's of my childhood such as the Gold Box series: Pool of Radiance, etc. I was surprised to find this gem searching the Windows 8 store. While a bit too cartoony for my tastes it's still rather enjoyable. It's not quite the experience of the PoR type game, in combat I'd still rather control unit placement but it's done rather well and geared towards touch. The game is really polished and although I don't use a touch interface, the developer did a great job in the interface and controls of the game. I'm still waiting for someone to re-imagine the classic gold box games but I guess there'd be licensing issues with WotC. Still I'm happy to support this developer and purchase the full game. Overall great game.
