Great arcade perfect port, with "tone"!

This is the best port of Dragons Lair I have played, it even has the "tone" sound effect when you make the correct move. All the others I've played did not.

Keyboard Problems

Price seems a little high, but the game actually looks pretty fun, so I would pay it. However, I'm on a computer and BOY AM I GLAD I DID TRIAL FIRST. There doesn't appear to be any keyboard support, even when switched to "keyboard mode" in options! Reactions are too quick to move the mouse across the screen between move and attack! There is also no indicator as to WHAT buttons are used in "keyboard mode." Wish I could rate higher, and I would if I could play it.

Don't buy, no keyboard or gamepad support

I cannot fathom releasing this game with only mouse support. It's a QTE (Quick Time Event) based game, where you want quick reactions. Having no gamepad or keyboard support makes it unplayable.

Great port with lots of options

I love this game and it's a great port. Dragon's Lair has always been my all time favorite since 1983. Tip: change more options by accessing the charm for 'settings' by swiping on the right hand side. For Digital Leisure: please port dragon's lair 2! I'll totally buy that one, too.

Fantastic update to a classic game

Not only is this an absolutely perfect port of the classic Dragon's Lair game, it's made even better by its HD remastering. Dragon's Lair has never looked better or been more fun! The game features three different control options -- touch (both left-handed and right-handed), controller, and keyboard -- home and arcade scene orders and both easy and hard difficulty levels. For a real challenge (and a fair bit of nostalgia), you can also play the game without on-screen hints. Be sure to check additional game options from the Windows 8 charms menu (Win+C, Settings, Game Options) to access the move guide, move beep, and control scheme options. If you choose keyboard controls from the games options on the charms menu, the controls are: spacebar = sword, arrow keys = movement. At $9.99, the price is a bit high, but I'm thoroughly happy with my purchase. More of these please! I'd love to see Dragon's Lair 2 and Space Ace as well.

This is awesome... but...

It doesn't seem as though the controls are mapped to the keyboard at all? I am playing on my desktop at home, and have no touchscreen, so moving the mouse back and forth to hit the attack and move controls on screen is problematic. Still - I loved this game as a kid and am very happy to see it here!!!

I love this game. The best version of all the versions ever released. Very smooth and easy to play. Uses the Microsoft 360 controller. If you mess up and get killed it vibrates, You can make it hard if you want and it also has touch screen control that works very well. Buy the full version it has lots of extras and achievement. Picture is awesome on the MS surface and if you hook it to your TV. Sound is great! I hope they release Space Ace next!

interesting, but lacks keyboard support

from what I could see it has fluid animation and is just as interesting as the original game, but with all the controls on the screen instead of the keyboard, it just isn't worth purchasing unless you have touchscreen support. Perhaps if they allow for keyboard controls or even use of an actual controller, then I might consider purchasing it to see if it deserves to be rated higher.

Still Discovering

The achievement board is not working and neither is the leader board. The game play is just like the arcade and the high def is amazing! Very cool!!!
