Great app but a bit buggy...
I love how this game revives a classic, but it could really use some more control options, like a mouse look feature. Also, it is a bit buggy. For example, I have gotten stuck in walls a few times and sometimes I even fall straight out of the world. If that didn't happen I would rate 5 stars.More
Not as fun as original
I played the Win95 version of this for hours on end! There was nothing else like it. But this version isn't nearly as fun nor as compelling.More
Very nice game!
The game has a lot of potential, and it is very fun too... but I will like some new levels to be added and also Xbox 360 Controller Support!More
Fun, But Glitchy
This is a really fun game (probably one of the best I've downloaded from the Windows Store) except for one thing: there are quite a few bugs/glitches. For example, at random times your "Hovercraft" will simply sink through the floor down below the arena. And at other times you'll randomly get stuck in a room with no way out -- and I'm pretty sure these things aren't supposed to happen. Also, sometimes the controls will just stop working and the game will freeze up. I WOULD have left a 5 star rating, but because of these glitches (which really have a negative effect on user experience) I had to lower it to a 3. Please fix this, and I will change the rating!More
Could use a few more levels
I was able to beat all three levels within about an hour. It is a fun game but not very challengingMore
Interesting but pointless
It is similar to the classic game that occupied much of my childhood, but it lacks many things. Naturally it won't feel like the old game because of the rebooted graphics, but it doesn't even feel familiar. The mechanics are completely missing, there are three levels, and the AI that shows up sometimes (one AI mind you) can barely navigate itself. There is no point to cloak and shield because there are no weapons. It really feels like this game is incomplete, which is majorly disappointing.More
A Windows 95 classic that occupied most of my childhood brought home by none other than Microsoft! 😃More
Is that it?
Wow, got to level 3 and game over! I am extremely disillusioned about this version of Hover! That's all there is and there is no more!More
horrible game ever
I hate how you can keep bumping into the walls.More
I have played the game twice. I have fallen under the level and inside a staircase. Yes you read that right. Not to mention the controls are a LOT harder to use this go around. The vehicle moves in directions you can't control and everything is just kind of 'eh' with this game. I was looking for nostalgia for the old Hover game, not the constant bugs and crashing of Windows 7.More
