The achievements were easy to get which was nice if you are an achievement hunter like me. The graphics were great and I always found myself hunting for rare animals to tame or for the skin. The land was vast and beautiful and thanks to all the mountains you get a great view of the land. My favorite thing about this game? On some of the female characters there was a breast hanging out. Now its not like I would stare at it I would just walk by and think, "Nice". Overall I loved this game, I loved the weapon system, the crafting system, the beast system, the healing system, the stealth system, the map, the enemies, the achievements, the side and main quests, the graphics, and finally the humor in this game. Loved it and cant wait for the next one!

Loved the game, but the DLC felt like a ripoff

Had a nice summary written, but I hit the wrong button. Likes: Open world that grows with your character's progression, noticeable upgrades, simple crafting system, ability to tame wild animals and have them for a sidekick with some offering special perk, fun combat offering multiple approaches like stealth with recon or an allout rush riding the back of a trained pet. DISLIKES: DLC felt like pretty lame, it was pretty much just more fetch quests which i didnt notice it was the dlc until I beat the game, the tribe that you expand felt kind of lifeless but gave good perks, the ending of the game was a bit lackluster. And gave little sense of accomplishment. these lackluster endings are far too common amongst most game. For once I just want to continue my reign and romp around with the respect i've earned and power ive surmouted.

Fantastic game

Great and original gameplay that gets you addicted the second you turn it on was disappointed when I heard no multiplayer but when I started I realized it doesn't. need it and the game shows they made the right choice by putting its extra efforts in the campaign instead only real complaint is it is a bit repetitive at times but overall A+

Addicting @ First

This game gets good at the beginning; the story hooks you in. But ... repetition is in this game's code. The missions are somewhat similar, the side missions are exciting but when you're about to finish it, you notice it was the same ending as the other side quest. Don't get me wrong, I love this game. It's just a lot of the things here repeat a lot: collecting herbs, crafting, hunting, etc.

Good Job

I bet people before were all like,"There is no way there would be a Far Cry game without guns." But they were wrong. Love the game, it's very fun and awesome.

after getting every achievement, i still play it

after alot of time played, i can give a good review. first the only bad thing is there is no story dlc. i love the story, side quest, taming, crafting, map, animals and challenging difficulty. play on the hardest difficulty, AI is smarter and its more rewarding. took about 112 hrs to get 100% done. people who give it 1 or 2 stars cant beat it on easy. best far cry game ever. 3rd favorite game behind skyrim and fallout 4🙂❤

exactly what ubisoft said it would be

pros of the game are the graphics, story line, size of the map and options for how difficult you want it to be. cons of the game would be that it is way to repetetive. i found myself going stealth in missions every single time and killing people the same way almost every single time. all the weapon and animal options seemed like the coolest thing ever at first but again you HAVE to be STEALTH to get any where and bow and arrow with a spear is how you will kill probably 70-80% of people. 4 STARS because its exactly what the company said it would be.PREHISTORIC SURVIVAL CAVEMAN GAME. WORTH THE 30 I PAYED BUT NOT 60. great game when you judge it from that standpoint but not anywhere as good as far cry 3 or 4. ALMOST CANT COMPARE BECAUSE IT IS SO DIFFERENT IN EVERY WAY.

My favorite Far Cry yet

I was skeptical when I first heard the series was going prehistoric, but it really works! The crafting makes sense when every weapon uses makeshift ammo, taming animals to ride/fight alongside you is great, and I got hooked on throwing spears at people. Very fun game, great graphics and gameplay.

Alright game but Far Cry 4 is better

This game has a setting that most other video games don't have. Obviously not all games have you running around with clubs and spears. The graphics are amazing and I rarely found performance problems. But the story was not very engaging. Of the 20 hours it took for me to finish I spent half of the game hunting, which can get repetitive. After I killed the 2 main bosses in the game I didn't know that you had to upgrade the Udam and Izila huts to level 2 to finish the game. I deleted the game and redownloaded it to actually finish the game. The real ending wasn't even that good. I honestly liked Far Cry 4 more because the story was more engaging and you could actually play with friends which made the game much more fun.

Great FC

out of all the FC games I've played this has to be my favorite it has a variety of things you can do like hunting rare animals or taming them, explore caves, ride your beast, raid forts. im really excited about what they might do next maybe like the civil war? or Medival Times which i could picture very perfect for a far cry. like this if you agree and ill tweet at Ubisoft.
