Decent game on PC...

I am not a fan of games that constantly harp you and encourage you to spend real money. Everytime I load the game, it has to tell me about the latest Microsoft sale to buy Gold. Gold is the in game currency to speed up things dramatically. However, as a free player and having to wait is not a bad thing. It starts off fast as first, but once you get going, everything takes longer to build or train troops, unless of course you spend Gold. Aside from all of that, it is a decent game. I like how you can build different castle structures and see different people try to destroy it. I know there are other games out there like this, but being Age of Empires, I prefer this style. It has depth and can be a long term game to played off and on. If you are a fan of Rts games or AoE at all, it's definitely worth checking out.

Cool for the price!

It is fun to play. I just dislike the time for upgrades.. Some take days to complete. Not a game you can play in just a few days. Easy to start but harder to stay with because of the long wait times. If you want to spend cash... you can upgrade it fast.... smile.

Needs much updating. No mass wall upgrade

Great game. Very fun. Desperately needs repeat training button. One button to retrain previously trained army like all other strategy games. Needs a mass wall upgrade option. Very time consuming and annoying upgrading walls individually. Please add a way to upgrade rows of walls or all the walls at one time. Also not enough opportunities to obtain other culture's pennants. Please update with more missions or methods to gain more pennants.

Cannot get beyond choosing a civilization

Following the tutorial takes me eventually to a place to select a civilization, but the games stops responding at this point to my user input. I cannot select a civilization to continue. However, this game appears to be just like every other game of this type. Have a "thing" build more things to advance, battle other players, upgrade your stuff. Blah blah blah. So tired of this mantra in App Games. Original Age of Empires was much better.

Game takes to long and you have to spend a ridicules amount of real money to grow your army and castle, Total rip-off!!! This Game is a complete insult to the Age of Empires series of old!

Best Game Ever

I love it because you get to make your own keep and play through the levels and keep your keep safe. You also get to get your own crowns from defense and attacking battles. You get to make/be in a alliance that you want. You have 9 keep ages and 8 crown levels (for empire(Your keep)and alliance). You can be the most popular alliance or have the most crowns in history have fun you'll love it and if you join please join the DiamondBacks alliance but you have to play.

If you liked CoC - then you will LOVE this game.

This game is so much better than Clash of Clans. Being able to move your troops to where you want them is essential. There's nothing like attacking a Castle with a flaming trebuchet making it explode. This game is basically Clash of Clans with so much more! Playing on the computer is very nice, being able to type with a keyboard and control troops better... I am addicted to this game.

Better than CoC

I really like this game. Been a AoE fan since 2 came out. Not the original RTS style game I remembered but I like the concept of a more realistic medieval warfare style game. I personally like this game although I couldn't get into CoC because it was just too cartoonish and simple for me. This game does have more features in gameplay and strategy than cash of clans or any similar type of game to me. Since I use a windows phone and computer it even makes playing this game even better.
