I love this on my android phone & tablet. It worked very well on my old windows 7 computer. The windows 10 version is a complete waste of time and effort to download. Digging through 500+ individuals to edit one person is a waste. I can't even see the individual in the tree to help with relations.More
I am unable to load my tree or even just view a single person on Windows 10. I clicked several FB links and says the page/post can't be found. Total waste of time, don't download!More
Useless and broken
Apparently this app doesn't let you view your tree but only individual people. I have no way to confirm, however, because when I first click on a person's name the app crashed and reloading it results in all the boxes that previously had names of people in my tree instead say "Add more people to your tree". So for the app is nothing more than a way to browse Ancestry.com's Facebook posts.More
too different from ancestry site
doesn't navigate like ancestry.com and a bit more difficult to see relationships and family structureMore
can I give it a 0?
This app is absolutely useless.. There is no way to view your tree. you can view individuals if you want to sort through all the people on your tree and pick one, it doesn't sync right and and generally functions like a kids app. I cant find a way to upload any media, print something I need to have a closer look to or anything else. It is even worse than family tree maker if that's possible. it would be better to have no app than this, and the mobile ones are only slightly better. The original desktop site did so much more and was so much easier. I have used Ancestry for years and these recent changes are like giving a high school student a kindergarden worksheet. just awfulMore
It works very well and gets you to your Ancestry!
If you go to your Ancestry messages or account on the upper right you will get to the Ancestry site. This just gives you more to play with but is a good way to get to the Ancestry site. Love it.More
Unlike the apps on other platforms, this app doesn't actually function in any way to work on trees. Using it on a Surface 3 but can only use the web version.More
Ancestry for 10 years
I have been using Ancestry for 10 years and my tree keeps growing.More
wrong function for ancestry
I can see why some people may like this app... but it doesn't serve any functional purpose for those just trying to upload photos/audio and expand their tree via hints etc...More
how do I delete this pitiful App?
cumbersome to use. in no way resembles the ipad app...which makes me sad. Scuttling this laptop and heading for the apple store... How can I see the actual TREE?More
