London, 1868. In the heart of the Industrial Revolution, lead your underworld organization and grow your influence to fight those who exploit the less privileged in the name of progress: • Champion justice As Jacob Frye, a young and reckless Assassin, use your skills to help those trampled by the march of progress. From freeing exploited children used as slave labour in factories, to stealing precious assets from enemy boats, you will stop at nothing to bring justice back to London’s streets. • Command London’s underworld To reclaim London for the people, you will need an army. As a gang leader, strengthen your stronghold and rally rival gang members to your cause, in order to take back the capital from the Templars’ hold. • A new dynamic fighting system In Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, action is fast-paced and brutal. As a master of combat, combine powerful multi-kills and countermoves to strike your enemies down. • A whole new arsenal Choose your own way to fight enemies. Take advantage of the Rope Launcher technology to be as stealthy as ever and strike with your Hidden Blade. Or choose the kukri knife and the brass knuckles to get the drop on your enemies. • A new age of transportation In London, the systemic vehicles offer an ever-changing environment. Drive carriages to chase your target, use your parkour skills to engage in epic fights atop high-speed trains, or make your own way amongst the boats of the River Thames. • A vast open world Travel the city at the height of the Industrial Revolution and meet iconic historical figures. From Westminster to Whitechapel, you will come across Darwin, Dickens, Queen Victoria… and many more.

Not enjoyable at all and when you beat it you'll delete it right away then you'll want to go back in time and stop yourself from buying it.

One of the better AC's but still no GOTY

Fun at times and the Frye twins are great assassins! Evie is easily the best assassin since Ezio from ACII. Also, jack the ripper is fantastic dlc. The bad: Lacks a little polish, still buggy at times and it gets repetitive to the point where I just wanted the game to be over. I have high hopes for the next AC knowing they're giving it the time it needs to be REALLY good like AC deserves. All in all syndicate is still a decent game.

good but...

great game but when you play it you expect more the story isn't connected to other ac games so I only play it if there are no other games but good job on brotherhood🙂

WOW! im in love with this game, graphics are as good as ever, characters are badass and very strongly connected, and the story is awesome! highly recommened this game for the fighting too, the added pace in fights make them extremly realistic! best AC game by far.

great AC game, 1 small prob.

freerun up and down to jump and climb👎 switching characters👍 totally diff time period👍 leveling up 2 get all (especially uplay) wepons👎 progess made as jacob does not transfer to evie👎 p.s. I know that its normal for AC to take place in the 18-1700s and before that but I think it would be cool to have an AC game that takes place in 2017.

Fettered Greatness

The characters and setting are fantastic. However, imprecise controls, play-it-safe mission structure, and repeticious gameplay prevent this title from climbing to the heights of the best AC titles. Play it for the 'Gangs of NY' vibe, the stellar music, and the characters, but be aware that, structurally and mechanically, this game is creaky and feels old as dirt. Also, leveling is fast and the game becomes hilariously easy around half-way through, making the controls your only remaining true nemesis.

Has a few plot and gameplay issues.

In other games, they had plots where there were barely any issues, however, as in III, this game has a giant plot issue where the protagonists go back on what their plans were for the ending, and Multiple protagonists failed, as it makes the developer neglect one, and that's shown as Jacob has no development in the later plot, just the same joking reckless Assassin, and Evie is almost like she was written by a computer. Gameplay has no real challenge, in early games, you had to time counters, now it's just spamming 4 buttons, and to climb, you just use LS and LB. There's also a few bugs, but they're not like Unity.
