Amazing

Despite people calling Battleborn an "Overwatch Copy" or "Borderlands 3," the game is quite different. There is a great loot system and many characters that suit different play styles. The multiplayer PVP game types are completely different than Overwatch's, and just because Oscar Mike has a rifle doesn't make him a Soldier: 76 copy. It seems like most of the hate for Battleborn is coming from people who never even tried the game, can't even give a single reason the game is bad, and just hate it because it is the popular thing to do. Don't believe me? Just go to "Show All Reviews." You'll see many just say "👎👎👎😢😢😢 bad game." No reason at all.

Best FPS I've played in a while

This game is AMAZING and fast paced, it is NOT an Overwatch clone the two games BARELY have anything in common the only issue is that sometimes it's hard to find other players and campaign is nearly impossible to do alone other than that this game has a HUGE variety of heroes each one is unique and funny in their own way, this game is worth every penny

Rock start but Phenomenal now

completely overshadowed by Overwatch, but this is a gem in the rough. Theyve kept good support with the game and have completely updated the game to make it a much smoother, fun experience then what it first was when it was released.

Would be fun if any one played.......

Super addictive play. Like HALO 1 and 2ish. The leveling based off of performance in each battle was a nice change to shoot um ups. I would surely 5 star the game if any one else played. But you do need team work and with just yourself each encounter its overwhelming. Never allowing succesful exploration of all characters and their development. To sum up, 3 afk, the same 20 guys running pvp and myself make for a bad community and deal for the price. But if you do play I need help beating Helophage hit me up.

Amazing Under-Rated Game

I love this game; it reminds me of everything great about the Borderlands series. There are great characters, addicting gameplay, and colorful art style. This game deserves so much more attention than it has received. I hope people will give it a chance and see how great it really is.

Not Overwatch

Battleborn is yet another fantastic Gearbox installment. The story and lore is interesting, the characters are colorful, and the mechanics are fun. It'll forever upset me that the world decided to pit it against Overwatch. The two games share nearly no gameplay mechanics.

Extremely Underrated

I am level 265 in Overwatch and have reached platinum or equivalent in every season. I'm level 113 in Battleborn. These are both incredible games but one is by no means a copy of the other. Battleborn has a more tactical, slower paced PVP experience with significantly more varied approaches to victory and team/character builds than overwatch does. Battleborn operates more similarly to a MOBA whereas Overwatch is a more simplified, straightforward experience. BB offers in-match leveling, ability augmentation, stat modifying equipment, bot minions, and a currency system to purchase minions, structures such as turrets and activate equipment affects. This gives a greater feeling of freedom to approach victory in a match than OW does. BB also has extensive PVE gameplay for a hero shooter for those less interested in the PVP competitive scene. I love both BB & OW but am saddened by the uninformed bias against BB. It is an extremely underrated game.

great game, $10 @ Walmart too!

diverse characters, tons of content, only 20 for dlc pass, but only a moderate player base

Don't listen to those overwatch fanboys

This game is actually pretty good and the people who say its bad are either people who just played the beta or are prestige 1's in overwatch. Don't listen to them. Listen to someone who actually plays the game.

Deserves So Much MORE!!!!

The Winter Update brought this game back to life and so much more. Battleborn now runs in 60fps, the characters are much more balanced for online vs, and the co-op is always fun. Sure the player-base isn't to high but thats because people overlooked the game or under-rated it...😢 Hopefully with this new update more people will recognize this beauty and join in on the fun this amazing game has to offer. Battleborn deserves so much more than what it received throughout it's first year, so I'm hoping year 2 will be much better. For me, this is easily my second favorite game after the Borderlands series (both made by the same group of amazingly awesome people!!). So for any new people looking at this game, trust me when I say it's worth giving it a try, give it a chance to make you addicted and come join me and many others in this exciting world known as Battleborn!⚔
