Battlefield to End all Battlefields

The Good - Great Single Player. Wait, what?! It actually happend. DICE 'added' a moving, meanful period piece to their multiplayer. And it's awsome. (Note: Homefront dosnt count, they only did the multiplayer/Bad Com. games where just stupid fun) - DICE Multiplayer No explenation required. - Simple and Solid mechanics No jetpacks, giant robots, or orbital strikes. This is down and dirty warfare at it's strongest. - Technical Marvel Visuals and even more so the audio are the new highbar. The Bad - Some minor bugs Mostly enviroment models and rare framerate hicups durring cutsceens. - Not Brutal Enough No dismemberments, gibbs, or any gore worth a d*mn. Done realisticlly this could have really added to the already impressive atmosphere. - Significant Artist Liberties Silencers, plentiful full-auto weaponry, and endless ammo for all vehicles are an ill fit to the setting.

greatest bf of all time, but has balancing issues.

really great game but i feel as if there are some balancing issues dealing with the bolt action rifles that dice should address right away. as you may know bolt/lever actions were the most common type of weapon issued to soldiers of all armies in this time period, but good luck trying to use them in this game. Your skill level is irrelevent as you will always be in a great disadvantage due to the amout of people using mgs and lmgs. I feel like there is an easy fix for this though, while keeping scoped snipers at a 2 hit kill just change the unscoped variants of these weapons a 1 hit kill... at least in close to medium range that is. although the devs from DICE will propably never read this or even consider these changes i just needed to express my feelings towards this because it almost ruined the entire experience for me.. but still awesome game and is now my fav battlefield game. peace!!

Chaos, Mayhem, but just enough!

Battlefield 1 gives you just enough chaos and mayhem you'd expect from a war game, without being clunky or patchy in terms of squad separation. The game finally has a balance for both teams, leaving not one team or the other strategically owned on the battlefield. Weapons, due to the era of WW1, can't be overly customized, but as a result, could have had a larger variety of weaponry (Sticky grenades, anyone?). And of course, the game (like any other) has its glitches, but none as severe as the BF4 launch, but will be fixed as time goes on. So far, I am highly impressed with the game and finally have urban combat scenerio with the map Amiens!! Great job once more, DICE/Uprise!

Mechanically Weak

Any game that requires you to have a squad or full team to be fun is inherently bad You also have to unlock items twice: XP and Currency This further locks content to tryhards, no lifers, and team queuers Anything that cannot be fun without religious amounts of playtime to unlock new content is bad Gameplay is chaotic and unoriginal Would LOVE a refund policy similar to steam Or maybe just a developer that can deliver on their promises

Sounds of glory!

The sound effects, the voice overs, the music from different walks of life all come together to make this a stunning adventure. The single player is much more polished and inviting than anticipated. Multiplayer is smooth and a giant playground, where teamwork and creativity keep one wanting more hours in a day. Favorite Battlefield game without a doubt.

Battlefield is back in a BIG WAY!

9.25/10 is my rating at the moment. Classic Battlefield with a fresh feel makes this the best Battlefield of all time. It has a Bad Company 2 feel with a hint of BF 3 and 4 to an extent. EPIC sums it up best.

Well its that time of year again. That special month that all of the COD die hards get that irresistable urge to join the world of gamers that live on a battlefield were gravity matters, campers necks are slit, and newbs that drop to the dirt to avoid death are reminded that real guns kill you regaurdless of whether you like to roll in the mudd like typical COD eilite. Yes, its that glorious time again when you are reminded why DICE takes twice as long in development, invests three times more attention to detail, and lets not forget, gifts its faithful clan the one thing that maters most... From all of us oldschool gamers, thank you for not making us look like the jetsons with sqirt guns! Dont get wrong COD fans, the Jetsons were cool, and squirt guns are fun, I personally just dont like the battlefield to resemble 48 rabbits with bottlerockets up their rears, all shooting exotic super soakers with pink zebra camo. Yes DICE, thanks for our dignity! DICE BF's COD again!

Best Battlefield game of all time! 5\5

Great graphics, excellent multi-player, balanced gameplay, has something for everybody. Love it!

Fun But Small

Great fun but there is no weapon customisation and ony 4 guns per class. I anticipate low replay value because this however its a smooth polished entertaining shooter for now.

1/5 bullet drop 5/5 graphics 1/5 spawn deaths 1/5 slow loading 1/5 map varients 4/5 vehicle controls 1/5 no leader boards 1/5 tags and box skins underwhelming overall it's pretty with only few bugs and some obvious balancing out launch. Map and weapon varients are too low. My first day I started get bored. Aside from graphics this game offers nothing innovativto keep it fresh.
