visual nightmare

Its is pretty when revealed. to fully see art you have 2 walk close 2 everything. not so bad right? wrong. at normal walk steed this game would be 1 hour long. but apparently she is also a cripple because the entire game you just want to move quicker. 4 hours in you begin weighing wether you want 2 spend 30 more minutes just to get a ball or see a complete scenery or just get through it asap. as a result i got no sidequests completed. DON'T LIMIT PLAYER SPEED TO MAKE YOUR GAME SEEM LONGER! Blind people don't walk this slow IRL either so don't use that as an excuse!

Short but interesting. This was absolutely beautiful. very fun easy to understand yet still challenging. Slow pace but it makes sense to the story. Just amazing art.

I loved this game from start till the end. Colorful and interesting. Wish there was more people to interact with the girl. The ending I was surprised. It was sad... yet questionable. Though it ends in a sad but good way.

A beautiful & captivating story.

This game is truly a work of art. Its what people call a "walking simulator" though I don't like that term. I think story narrative or something like that would better describe the genre. Anyway, this game ninja death punches you right in the heart from the very beginning & keeps slugging away till the very end. You immediately feel for the young girl as you're swept away in this short but rich little story. It must be terrifying to be blind. Just playing this game I found myself sometimes getting really anxious & felt like I was completely alone & lost as I stared into the white background eagerly awaiting the next bit of watercolored details to appear on screen. I finished the game in one sitting but have no regrets in my purchase. It really is a work of art & though short in length, it stands tall in its simple but very emotionally engaging story. I greatly enjoyed it!

Beware.Beautiful game except..

The artwork was amazing. The music was great. The story was pleasant and engaging till the end. The end was horrible. I honestly would not have played the game if I known. Post tramatic. Who thought that ending was ok. What a unique beautiful game. Whoever thought of that ending should be fired.

Don't waste time or money

I was really intrigued by the trailer and thought the premise of the game was solid and would make for a really interesting gaming experience... But this game doesn't deliver that. It delivers boredom on a scale i have never seen in a video game. My 9 year old daughter after 10 minutes said "this is stupid, why is it sooo slow? you keep doing the same thing!" . It makes a snails pace look like ludicrous speed from "space balls" and it's story telling has "mary had a little lamb" looking like Shakespeare.... Gameplay inexcusably slow ,Graphically a PSone game , Puzzles? what puzzles? Is that your cats bell? NO! It never is! Replayability... I dare you to sit through it once! You will wish you were in "Saw" and could just cut your leg off to escape... Bottom line doesn't even make a dollar look like a good price. You're welcome...

A nice kids book story

Artistically, it is beatiful, emotive, inventive. But the pace is a pain. We are behind the eyes of a blind character so I know we can't run carelessly around and that's why she walks so slowly. But that keeps this title from being a more enjoyable ride. Else, it is a touching story... for the kids.

Charming but short.

This is a very slow paced exploration game. It's all about the experiencing the world through different senses while searching for your new friend. Though he always seems to be just out of reach, you bravely push on determaned to reconnect. This game only took me about one and a half hours to complete but I did not do any of the achievements. If you do them all you might get about 3 hours of gameplay. While this is a beautiful and touching game, I cannot recommend it at its full price, which I believe is $15. $10 might even be pushing it a little bit, but if you see it lower than that you should definitely check it out.

art is subjective

this game is pure art, from its beautiful watercolor design to the minimalistic story, to the way the world unfolds infront of you piece by piece. unfortunately art is subjective and one man's treasure is anothers trash and the phrase 'walking simulator ' will be thrown out alot. but its been avery long while since a game that says so little made me feel so much
