GR8 Game

Puzzles are a little 2 easy. But great story and good progression. Boss difficulty is a bit weird.

Best Resident Evil in years.

RE 7 is what the franchie has been missing for years. I thought the change of perspective and characters would be an issue but that couldn't be further from the truth. The only real issue I have is the lack of enemy variety, other than that the game is near perfection. 5 stars for me.

GRreat but flawed

The games overall experience was fun and terrifying. Had great audio which mad the game twice as scary. Roaming the house gave me flashbacks with the originals. The doors that you gently push open, not know the horrors behind and having to quickly shut them to avoid death... Having lots of fun with the game. With that being said the game is too short... The game gives you plenty to survive, i ended the game with plenty of ammo left. The final boss was crap, total disappointment. Then on top of that theres only 37 achievements, which is the biggest disappointment of the game. Going for achievements adds to the value and replay value (LIFE) to the game.. BUT i did very much enjoy playing and am excited to see how this game fits in the RES storyline. I know its some time in the future 25+ Years or so....

A Masterpiece 🎮🎮🏆🏆

Resident evil 7 is worth the money. The flow of the game, the horror and it's story is amazing. The puzzles might be easy but that does not take time off the game. Coming from someone who didn't want to get it because of resident evil 6. I'm glad I looked away from it and was able to play this masterpiece.

Wonderful horror experience

RE 7 is a terrific yet brutal horror game. I've been longing for a fun and tense survival horror game, and RE 7 delivered. I'll admit I was skeptical about the game when I saw the teasers and played the demo. I just thought it looked like an Outlast clone and not a RE title. But after playing through the intro area, it really started to feel like a RE title. It reminds me very much of the original RE, and I even felt the same delight as I did playing RE 1 as a teen way back in the late 90's. I do have issues with some of the games mechanics, but that didn't deter my thurough enjoyment of the game. If you enjoy a horror thrill-ride and want to experience gripping tension and suspence, I highly recommend RE 7.

Real Survival Horror is Back!

If you've missed actually being scared of a Resident Evil game for the last decade like I have, then RE7 will restore your faith back into the series. There are definitely elements and inspiration from the likes of P.T. and Outlast, but it still feels like its own game and it beautifully balances new departures while embracing old fans with its nostalgic undertones. Though many were early to criticize Capcom for leaving 3rd person perspectives behind, lets not forget that a lot of these fans also overly-praised 4 even with its overhaul of changes back then when they felt the formula was stale. Resident Evil was originally meant to be a first person game so it feels right to incorporate this now that they have the technology to make it happen. If you want the fast-paced shooter, this game is not for you. 2017 will be a year for Horror and Resident Evil 7 sets the bar very high. Thank you Capcom for this masterpiece. As a fan since the first installment, I Iook forward to the next!
