Description

Take control of the skies in this 2D retro-aerial dogfighting game. Step into the cockpit of an ace pilot in the golden era of aviation, and destroy the invading forces. Featuring arcade style gameplay, the game is easy to learn yet difficult to master. "It’s a solid product, it’s an ideal coffee-break blast and it’s another fine example of local game development." 85% - Mark Del - New Age Gaming "With simple controls and no nonsense gameplay, Blazin’ Aces is a clear winner!" Sheldon Pinto - TechTree "Blazin’ Aces is a decent-looking game too, thanks to its HD overhaul, and it has a rather epic-sounding main track to boot." 7.6 / 10 - Deon Du Plessis - Htxt.africa

The game launches now (didn't in May when I first installed it). The game controls are a bit tough to get used too, but wth more practice, it could be really fun.

Best game for a long time, worth the Money. Once you learn how to control the plane you get hooked.

NOTE: I review almost every game I buy it download with an honest and fair opinion/perspective. Here are a few points about the game: 1. Controls are confusing, and feels like I have very little control. Planes should be able to turn on a dime, no? 2. Audio/graphics are pleasant. 3. Multiple game modes. Well, I guess i was overly excited for this little game. It reminds me of LUFTRAUSERS, a PC game on steam, but plays alot different. I love a challenging game, but im not sure this game demonstrates a challenge properly. The feat is getting control of the aircraft , which to me is a turn off. I'd rather see this as a bullet-hell style flyer, and have it feel more comfortable. I haven't given up on this game yet. I am hesitant to recommend this game at this point, as I would like to see future updates. Also, consider a trial version to get more feedback from other players.

What's relevant between app and the icon. FOK YOUR APP. 👊👎 If you want 5 🌟, you should change the icon.

Developer comment · Red Dot Lab responded on 5/11/2016

Hi Cemil, I'm sorry you feel that way. The icon is a reference to the pin-ups that were painted on World War 2 planes to inspire and motivate soldiers. Blazin' Aces is set in World War 2 era, and the icon was selected as a throwback to the artwork done on those planes.

Decent visuals, classic art style, so so story, decent sound effects and boring fun dogfights. My major gripes are there is no Moga Pro support, the touch controls are meh, it has a bit of frame dropping (even on 1520) and freezes when attempting to restart Please fix.

Normally I find mobile games completely unplayable and forced for the most part. But this one's touch controls not only work, but its also fun. My only complaint, and its a major one, is that there's no toggle for the button transparency. I like my buttons large, but their size covers the action often and being able to make em more translucent would make this game that much better.
