Outnumbered and outgunned, but not outmatched. Welcome to Call of Duty®: Ghosts, an extraordinary step forward for one of the largest entertainment franchises of all-time. This new chapter in the Call of Duty® franchise features a fresh dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive. Fueling this all new Call of Duty universe, the franchise's ambitious new next-gen engine delivers stunning levels of immersion and performance all while maintaining the speed and fluidity of 60 frames-per-second across all platforms. Single Player Campaign Ten years after a devastating mass event, the nation's borders and the balance of global power have been redrawn forever. As what's left of the nation's Special Operations forces, a mysterious group known only as ""Ghosts"" leads the fight back against a newly emerged, technologically-superior global power. Multiplayer In Call of Duty®: Ghosts you don't just create a class, you create a soldier. In the new Create-A-Soldier system, choose the head, body type, head-gear and equipment, and for the first time in a Call of Duty® game choose your gender. New dynamic maps include interactive elements and player triggered events that make the environment evolve as each match goes on. The entire landscape can shift and force you to change tactics and strategies. Call Of Duty: Ghosts redefines how the player moves through the world. The new contextual lean system now allows you to lean around obstacles without adding button combinations or fully leaving cover. The new mantling system allows you to move fluidly over objects, while maintaining momentum. The knee slide allows you to naturally transition from sprinting to crouch to prone. Squads Build your team and take up to 6 of them into battle in the all new Squads mode. This mode takes the best parts of the multiplayer experience and allows you to play either solo or cooperatively with the custom soldiers you've created and leveled up in multiplayer.

one of the worst CoD titles...but still expensive AF?

While not as good as most of the latest CoD games, this has the variety and the set pieces that define the CoD quality of the post-CoD4 era. It has a better campaign than BF and while it doesn't have an identity as previous CoD's and the villains SUCKS A$$, it still manages through the variety of the levels and game mechanics to made it to the game hall of fame on a bicycle with flat tyres. heh!

Why This is The Best CoD.

If you're like me, you're sick of having tiny maps, and having to spray an entire clip to get a kill. I feel that ghost is very unique among the franchise by having huge maps, incredible weapons, an appealing look, a good campaign, and, in my opinion, an incredibly fun alternative gamemode. I enjoy the incorporation of stealth that attempts to inspire player to have a more strategized playthrough and mindset.

I think most F.P.S. gamers, and Call Of Duty fans in particular, either LOVED this game OR completely HATED it. I personally think its one of the best yet! The storyline is immersive, gripping and well developed. This one is about the campaign far more than the multiplayer. The gameplay is seamless and graphically flawless, as well as stunning cinematic sequences... especially in 4KUltraHD! The games style caters more to the player that's been waiting for a shooter that's more tactical espionage than just guns blazing. If online multiplayer is your bread and butter, then this one probably isn't for you. The multiplayer isn't horrible but they clearly weren't focused on that aspect as much as other CoD's. It's still a great addition to one of the greatest game franchise ever!!! It's JUST NOT FOR EVERYONE.

It was okay

The multiplayer felt different and unique. I personally think the large map size wasn't really a big deal, and had the best perk system. I also thought character customization was cool. The campaign is the best one I've played in a CoD game. There are still problems, though: lots of campers, SAT-COM, and unbalanced guns. Other than that it's just your standard Call of Duty game. The majority of the people hated this game because popular YouTubers disliked it (and yet still played it), or because of the camper problem.

Decent story was about all this game had.

I really had high hopes because of how awsome the Modern Warfares were, but this one ruined CoD for me. To me this game seemed like they were trying to copy Black Ops, which ruined the multiplayer that I loved from Modern Warfare. So I am done with CoD. The Modern Warfares are the only good CoD games in my opinion.

lies...must pay for all DLC

I was told if i buy ghost 4 one all info n DLC will be transferred 4m the 360.... i only got bits of dlc would appear but when it came to the game it defaulted back to standard charactor.....FIX OR PAY ME BACK!

terrible, simply terrible.

the spawns across all game modes are broken, the guns are very unbalanced, killstreaks are all lackluster and boring, all of the maps are way to large, and camping is what the game revolves around with no skill involved. -2000/5 *EDIT* i also have noticed a sever issue with the net code and constant continuous lag. i know it is not on my end because i have checked. it is truly sad that with all of the updates this game had they could not even fix those 2 issues. if i could actualy give a negative score for this P.O.S i would give it an honest -7/5.

Lags even in local bot matches that I play for practice

Significant amount of lag and happens often. Also, intermittently stops recognizing my season pass, locking dlc and asking me to pay for map packs when I attempt to re-install them.

only for the campaign

the multiplayer was almost unbearable, the only saving grace is the campaign which is what earned the 4 stars otherwise it would not get a single star
