This game is GREAT! NES like. Playing this game took me back to the late 80's early 90's. I really appreciate games like this. Thank you. Keep em comin!

Extremely hard on Easy setting, and not fun

Yet another indie with only hard difficulty settings....yawn. Technically it has Easy up thru "retro gamer" difficulties. I grew up during the "retro" time period, I can tell you this game's Easy setting is still harder than 99% of the retro games' difficulties. Did people forget you could play retro games for longer than a couple minutes before they got annoyingly frustrating? To me this justs screams that the game is sparse on content, numerous deaths an retries just pad the length. To top it off they made jump the X button and A the attack button, and no time to get used to it before the first boss. And no boss music... totally not retro.

A much better game than I expected.

This is actually a much better game than I thought it would be, especially since a smaller company/group worked on it. It is a good shout-out to retro arcade games like ghouls 'n' ghosts, is adequately difficult (but not terribly so, at the hardest difficulty it is still beatable with multiple tries and effort), and has a few cool secrets hidden in the game (especially the black armor). I would recommend this game for fans of old arcade games, especially if you see it on discount.

Did'nt want to give it a chance

Who puts the jump button on X instead of A, with no option to change this? It looked like a fun game, if they had got the buttons sorted out. But I will run of a ledge trying to jump with the A button so many times, that I am not willing to give this game a chance. This makes the game unplayabke for me, and therefor only one star from me. Get the buttons sorted out, and I would probably buy this game.
